To be clear, it was a good deal. However the electrical current in the apartment tended to come and go as it pleased (even though the circuit breaker box was in the apartment and showed that everything was in working order) so that occasionally when we wanted to use the coffee maker or tv, we couldn't. Also, there were sheets and naked comforters for the beds. 2 dead cockroaches in the stairwell. Noisy, grunting, screaming maids outside the door at 8:30 AM. Great location. Great restaurant below

The apartments are in a lively area so there's plenty of bars and restaurants around, plus bus links to other parts of Malta. However, the rooms we had were very unclean, with insects everywhere. To begin with neither of our ovens worked, one was later fixed. A bed was set up for a member of the group which broke instantly. There was no hot water in one of the rooms. The apartments are cheap, but they are not a pleasant stay.

Massive apartment, very clean and excellent value for money. The area is very much aimed at the 15 to 18 age bracket with lots of cheesy clubs and drink deals which isn't everyone's thing but it's just a short walk or a bus ride to other parts of Malta. The staff were friendly. If you're just looking for a cheap base then this is a very good option. I'd come back here.
