This was my first hostel experience. Gotta say it was the nicest place I have ever stayed. Friendly people, clean clean and peaceful atmosphere, and extremely affordable. I recommend Burlington hostel 100%

It was very strict with the no alcohol policy and curfew - it felt like I was in High School. I read somewhere that if you smelled of smoke or alcohol, you would be dismissed from the facility. I understand irresponsible individuals, but it was a little too strict for my tastes.

I thought this hostel was wonderful to stay at. It is extremely clean and is in an ideal location just a block away from Lake Champlain. The main shops and attractions are an easy walk from the hostel. The staff were all friendly and helpful, but a little on the reserved and quiet side than I'm used to with some hostel staff I've met over the years. I think the atmosphere is also on the quiet side, but it was still a pleasant stay. I would recommend it here for reserved and chill travelers.
