The hostel was really good: friendly staff, good social ambiance, good cleanliness... The price was also good. It's small hostel and, for that, good for relaxing once it is less crowded. The only thing I missed was some recycling bins. It would be good to have the opportunity to avoid discarding recycling materials and reduce the impact of the trip. Besides that, I really liked it. It is really worth choosing this one.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hostel. Everything was very clean. I asked about renting a towel, but the owner just gave me one. She also baked homemade bread for breakfast on the weekend, and went through a map with me, highlighting all the best places to visit. The atmosphere was very casual and homey, and the hostel was in a quiet location that was still close to everything. This is the only place I'd ever want to stay in Edinburgh!

This hostel was really great. Kylie (staff) was super laid back and always willing to help and be flexible! They understand what being a backpacker is like and this hostel has done a lot to make travelling simple and comfortable. This was one of those hostels that had a really cool crowd! Be carefully though ... It is easy to spend the whole day in the hostel because its so cool :) Best showers I have seen since I've been travelling so far. Highly recommend!

By far one of the best hostels I've ever been in. Ideal for laid back solo travelers! they have comfy and clean beds, clean showers and toilets, free wifi with very good connection, free breakfast (homemade bread = A+), the nicest owners ever (thank you steve and kylie for such a great stay will be back soon :). I have never felt so comfortable and welcomed in a hostel environment. Ideal for solo travelers or groups up to 3. Not the fanciest hostel but definitely the one I'd return to :)

Probably the best hostel I've stayed in, I definitely would recommend. Staff was very helpful and friendly and the hostel had a very good relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Probably the best thing was breakfast which was open all morning, unlike most hostels that close at 9:30 when you just wake up! It's a small hostel as well which made it easy to meet people.

It's a very cozy hostel. Extremely easy to meet other people and go out to a pub together, which is really great when you're traveling alone. Steve was really friendly and helpful. It was nice to have breakfast included, as it was one less thing to think about.

I loved how small the hostel was and that we were welcomed with a cuppa - just what I needed after a long trip. I was however bothered how dirty the hostel was - showering and using the toilets were disgusting and the floors weren't too clean either. Our hostel room door didn't actually lock, so it was left unlocked the entire night, and the main door to the hostel was also found open one night too. Thankfully we had safes in the room. The owner, however, was very welcoming and friendly.

Small hostel, really didn't feel like a hostel. The guy running the place was excellent. He immediately sat us down upon arrival and explained the layout of the city and made some recommendations. I would stay here again

The provided bedding, minimal breakfast, and full kitchen facilities were great; the new bathroom was also appreciated. The fresh-baked bread was delicious, thank you!

Excellent hostel. A home away from home, very comfortable and cosy. Steve has a wealth of knowledge and its the little things that make a hostel so welcoming.

I was lucky to find this hostel. It was a good place to me because of the quiet atmosphear I could find those days. I had been in other hostels and normally there was a horrible noise, even whilst eating. This one was cosy and more familiar, and I enjoyed the change. If I return to edinburgh I will stay again there.
