Hotel isn't far from the train station (it's located on the shinkansen side). Also,there is a washing machine and dryer available for a reasonable price. The dryer takes a very long time (our clothes were in the dryer for over an hour and were still not dry). Note that all toilets are eastern style (hole in ground) and you may have to climb some stairs to get to the bathroom..
