Don't stay there unless you need to. It may be clean but all is so old that it makes you feel dirty simply by being in there. Air conditioner ok, beds ok (slept well), shared bathroom ok. But the overall impression is still really bad. A bit noisy too: thin walls + "center" location. This is both the worst and most expensive place we've stayed at in japan.
