Booked this hostel based on the nice pictures of the room with the swan towels on the bed and glanced at some of the reviews. I've stayed at a good amount of hostels all over the world and this one by far is the worst accommodation I've ever seen. Arranged an airport transfer that never arrived. Finally got to the hotel and when we got to our room there wasn't any toilet paper, the shower drain was plugged. The sheets had hair and stains on them, some of which looked like blood...
A really nice place, the room was very big. Nice, clean and airy. It was just a bit out of the way from the main areas... Which is fine for most as taxis/ motorbike hire is cheap (a facility which they provide).., but my boyfriends wallet was stolen in our previous location so were on a bit of a budget so walking was our only option... So that was the only issue
butterfly - very hard to find, bad location not walking distance to anything, far from the beach, room wasn't ready were asked to wait while the reception cleaned the room, tiny lobby, three flights of narrow stairs, our room smelt very strongly of new paint that caused head aches, sheets were dirty and stained, there was dirt on the floors, and "Balcony" was just a tiny room directly against another building, opted out of the stay it was so bad, reception refused to refund us. Terrible!!!
It was okay for the price. The bed was hard and the bathroom terrible, but the furniture was ethnic and lent much atmosphere. The view was nice even though it was just of rooftops. It's in a dull part of town, without a motorbike there isn't much to see or do. Luckily the place offers bike rental as well as food.
this is the highlight of my trip, very clean and the owner is super nice. we arrived very late and he didn't complain. there is even a balcony in the room! we stayed in a double room, bed is very big and room is pretty big itself. toilet is clean. it's a bit far away from the beach and not easy to find, quite small entrance, but really, super nice. strongly recommend. not sure about the atmosphere because we only stayed one night.

Lovely hotel couldn't believe how cheap it was for what we got!! It was a bit out the way but still only walking distance from the centre. This was perfect for us though. It was by far the nicest place we have stayed in this trip.
Really good hotel, but was not as conveniently positioned as I would have liked.
Nice rooms, comfy big beds, bit of a walk to the beach, nice staff, good value for money, near to bars and restaurants.
Best hotel we stayed in in thailand!! Be warned its very hard to find look for purple exterior. But excellent value for money everything us new and clean and the staff and owners are really nice and will go out of their way to help you, walking distance to bangla road and the beach too. Highly recommend!

Nice clean place and you get a lot from the room for the price. Excellent wifi which is sooo needed! Slightly far from the main strip (bangla road) but it wasn't a problem to us as you pass through the night food stall market that does cheap and great food in the evening. Nice staff that helped with anything we needed and we would definitely go back!! Hard to find as it's new so keep the hotel's address and number handy :)
