We booked a private room for 45 euros a night and it was tiny. With 2 of us and our bags there was literally no room to move. The bathroom needed some updating and care. Of course we weren't expecting 5 star, but the shower door was broken and looked as though the glass had never been cleaned. Ever. Expensive for what it was. We were expecting a much higher quality hostel than that. The kitchen and common area on the otherhand were great. Excellent facilities more care needs to be put into the r

The hostel was not really in center contrary to written on web-site. Rooms were clean, ok, but I can't say same for the bathroom and toilettes etc. Anyway it was nice stay.

In general we're satisfied from this place. We find it in "good" and I definitely will book it again if Zagreb is on our way.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the bed was SO comfy - the room itself was really nice, nicer than some hotels (I had a double bed room). The only thing that lets it down was the location, but it is only a safe 25 min walk to the centre, and there are trams, supermarkets and bars nearby. I would stay again.

BUZZ hostel is GREAT, the common room is very cozy with fast internet, the area around is VERY safe! The next Kebap is just 2 minutes away, supermarket maybe 4 mins :-) Its very easy to get to the city center and the STUFF is AWESOME (especially anna) the rooms are quite big and clean. They got a garden to chill out after sightseeing and partying! It's definitly the best hostel in zagreb you can get - especially for this cheap price!

Not only were the staff super sweet and helpful, they also recommended some great restaurants and let us use their printer in a crisis. After a long and taxing trip getting there, the rooms were clean, cool and quiet. There's free wifi, which is great, and they turned us on to a Zagreb iPhone app that helped us navigate the city. It's a bit out of the way/not the closest to the main square, but the trams are super easy to ride and a bunch of them pick up right near there (a 2 block walk). A+!

Really enjoyed our stay here, hostel is very open and friendly and just the right size to meet people. Location isnt the most central but easily accessible by tram. Staff were very helpful at all times and the hostel was kept to a good standard of cleanliness. Only real problem was that we were in a twin room which was very very small and consequently very hot however a fan was provided! Would stay again.

Good hostel, staff is nice and helpful, there is coffee, tea and Internet for free. It's just a bit away from the city center (30 minutes walking, 15 minutes with the tram)

The Hostel is in a quiet and good location with small garden, not far from the centre, to be reached easily by tram. Staff is nice. We booked a double-room but what we got was like a cell, which had a very small window only to the corridor and not to the outside. The room had a about 6 m² (!), so imagine how hot it was 36° warm in Zagreb...Seems like the pictures show only the "Deluxe-Double Bed Private".

Rooms and facilities were generally in good condition while the bathrooms show some mildew on the ceiling. Staff was really helpful and very friendly. Distance to center around 15-20 min, different tram stops around 5 min away. There are McDonalds, supermarkets, banks and snack bars available at nearby Kvaternik Square as well as a tram hub. They have limited free parking space, must be reserved in advance. All in all I would choose this place again.

Everything was good in the hostel, near from the city centre, clean and new. Only a problem: the shower was full of hairs always and you can`t have a shower in good conditions.(3th floor). The bathroom was noisy.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful with every question I had to ask. The rooms looked very new and everything was in a good state of repair, and maintained at a very high standard of cleanliness. The hostel was fairly small and cozy, and had a lovely atmosphere. There's also a free phone guests can use to call any landline worldwide for free! The only downside is the distance from the hostel to the downtown, but it's only a ten minute tram ride away, so that's really not too bad.

Rooms are tight, there was hardly room to move with all the luggage. The air con has an extremely bright light that flickers all night long so you need an eye mask plus the door is very noisey when it opens so you need ear plugs too. The bathroom was awful, the floor soaking, the main light didn't work and the shower blocked so you had to shower very quickly before it overflowed. It does have one computer with free internet and a kitchen. It lacks character and is just functional.
