Nice hostel. Very chill. Away from the town but they have a shuttle. If you want to party stay in town if you want a low key vibe stay here. Overall very good hostel.

Great location, unbeatable proximity to a beautiful beach, very good bars with live music next doors, for the big night out just a 10 min walk at the stunning beach into town, clean and new facilities

Really enjoyed our time at the Byron Beach Resort. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the downtown area but we thought this was a huge plus - it puts you at arm's reach from the craziness and allows you faster access to a beautiful beach. The facilities were nice and there's a fantastic garden area with hammocks. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Byron!

Hostel is clean and close to the beach. It's about a 15 min walk to the town along the beach although it doesn't feel very safe at night and shuttles stop at 8.30pm. If you are looking to meet other travellers- this is not the place to stay as it wasn't very social. Minor point but we found some staff rather unhelpful !

Not a bad hostel, rooms are clean and spacious and mine had an ensure and little living room which was a good touch. No activities like games room or pool or anything which meant it wasn't a very social hostel. Right next to the beach but don't believe the staff when they tell you it's a 10 min walk down the beach to town because it's more like 35/40 mins! Regular shuttle bus but stops at 9:15 at night so have to make your way back somehow after that.

Really nice hostel a bit out of town - it's a nice 10 minute walk on the beach. The staff was really friendly and the hostel was totally clean (cleaning every morning). The beach is directly on the other side of the street and it is beautiful! Would definitely recommend to stay there.

The hostel has a mix of backpackers and families on their holidiays. This plus the location which is a bit outside Byron makes it a really nice place for people who wanna relax and take an easy time. Great that the beach is just a footstep out the door. Good for surfing, sunbathing and a nice day at the beach. Not ideal for going out though. Very clean and very friendly staff!! Definitely recommend!

Right by the beach, so quiet but only a 15 minute walk to Byron. Nice grassy area, cute TV room and spacious kitchen.

This was our favorite hostel so far. A bit out of town, but a nice 15m. walk across the beach or you can hire free bikes at reception. Staff was so friendly and helpfull! And the atmosphere was great, we met a lot of nice people. The hostel is colorfull, has a garden, a big kitchen and is right across the beach. We'll miss this place!!

I stayed in other hostels for less money BUT the atmosphere was great, the staff friendly and it was the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. Location was perfect. I wanted to avoid the town itself and made the right choice. It is a beautiful walk along the beach. They offer some nice activities- good organized and great fun. The common area is big enough. It never felt crowded even though the hostel was fully booked. I can highly recommend this hostel and would come back

I found some of the staff to be a bit pretentious and acting a bit 'too cool for school'. That aside they could answer any questions I had it would be nice to receive the information without attitude though.

The hostel is outside the city, there is a free shuttle or you can walk along the beach about 10 minutes. I had a 8-dorm room, it was big, there was one bathroom inside. There was no AC in the room and it was so hot inside after a hot day...almost impossible to sleep... It was very noisy, there is a bar outside and until 23:30 there is live music...
