I had a great time at the BBR, which had just the right mix of organisation and that laid back relaxed Aussie surf vibe. Everyone that was there agreed it was a great place. The only complaint was that they charged for internet usage, which I felt was a bit steep.

Really nice chilled out hostel! Awesome location - so near to the beach. It's not located very centrally, but you've got the free shuttles every hour or so. Nice, basic rooms, nice lounge and outside area! Staff is also very friendly. Keep up the good work guys!
A very good hostel, awasome environment in nature, lots of amacas and cozy places to chill out and relax, wonderful atmosphere. Relax, easy to meet nice people but not a party hostel (luckily!). Only weakness point, is quite far from the centre, but if you're not so lazy you can reach it with an half hour walking!
Very impressed by this hostel! Location was perfect for the beach - only a stones throw away, and Byron Bay town centre is a 20min walk away. Beds are reasonably comfortable and the lockers are adequate
A bit out of town, but luckly there is a shuttle bus or a short stroll at the beach, which is just across the street.
Wow... What a location! A stones throw away from the beach, and a nice little 20minute walk to Byron Bay town centre. The rooms were pretty basic but quirky, and the rest of the complex was nice. The hammocks outside the room were a nice touch and gave you an awesome chilled out place to skype your friends and family. Very well priced!
