I didn't like this hostel. It has an excellent location and huge common spaces, but rooms are quite small. Showers have transparent doors, so you have an interesting view for bathers. Really strange.. Some problems with water pressure at bathroom. It's quite loud with a lot English guests. In the morning there was the stench of vodka in my room (and it was a female dorm ;>).

Just be aware of keeping toilet paper supplied in the bathroom.

My stay at C.C.L.y was wonderful! My time in Catania was brief, but I fell completely in love - largely due to the warm and welcoming vibe in the hostel. It is a bright, clean and colourful place full of energy. Dinners together around the table were a perfect way to end the day. And the view of Etna from the balcony is great!

I had one of the most unique hostel experiences at CCly since I've been traveling ver a month now. They do a ton of extra little things that combine into a great experience. ALL of the staff is super nice and they make an amazing meal most nights that try let me join for a couple Euros. Other little things: they do your laundry for you for cheap (sun dry), they have chess and puzzle things in the common area, they helped me plan a day trip to Etna... And so on. Just very friendly anaccommodatin

Very helpful staff and good location. Only complaint would be the locker size which is too narrow for backpacks. Hooks on wall for jackets would be helpful. good kitchen facilities. I had a very good stay! Well recommended.

Key mechanisms installed incorrectly on Locker doors by guy who is DGAF, and not secure.. Again, shower heads always broken. Given all this, Italy a laid back back atmosphere for young travellers on a budget

The best part of the hostel was the staff staying there. Rosario/Jitka greeted me with a handshake and friendly welcome (including a cafe!) before even turning to administrative issues. This was the vibe the whole time. Felt like staying at a friend's house where everyone went out together and enjoyed each other's company. I planned on staying one night and ended up staying 4 due to the cool atmosphere. The location is also great both for the Catania and day trips to other towns and cities.

CCLy Hostel is a great place to stay. After initially booking for3 nights I ended up staying 10! Rosario, Jitka and other staff are super friendly and know the city. Would say it was more like staying at a friends place than staying at a hostel. It wasn't uncommon for us all to go out for dinner together or go to one of the bars in Catania's busy nightlife district. The location of the hostel is great. 5 mins from the bus or train station and a close walk to the city centre. Definitely recommend

This was a really fun, hip place to stay. Your typical hostel but definitely of great value! The lockers to store stuff were helpful and the facilities were about what we expected for our money and everything was clean! The staff and other visitors were all welcoming and friendly, which made it extra great!

I wish I could have stayed longer at CCLy hostel. The staff and other guests were really welcoming and inclusive. On one of my two days, we took a trip to Pantalica, walking through the gorges and exploring the necropolises. It was such a special experience and I was so grateful to the CCLy staff for inviting me along. Additionally the hostel is really clean, the breakfast is great and they have all the facilities one needs in a hostel. Thank you CCLy!

C.C.Ly Hostel was a great place to stay in Catania. Close to the train/bus station, secure facilities but more importantly the staff were very helpful and relaxed. They were cool to have a drink with or just talk. Would definitely recommend to other travellers.

Good value for the money but some things could be improved like the breakfast. Not really in a nice area but very convenient to take buses. Friendly staff. I would recommend this hostel and probably stay here again.
