The rooms were great and the bathrooms weren't too bad. The kitchen was a little filthy and always had a bad smell. The staff are fantastic and couldnt do enough for us. The location was close to the railway station however the streets surrounding the building didn't really give the impression that we were in the safe part of town...

Really friendly staff, great environment. Location was great as well, they even left their personal mobile numbers if you needed them for one thing or another. You guys definitely need to tighten the toilet seats to the toilets as well as replace one of the lightbulbs in the toilet, I was really scared doing my little business in the dark.

The hostel is located near the central station (no more than five minutes by walk). Nice furniture and good common spaces, ideal for a talk and a coffee with friends all over the world. Cosy bathroom. Staff is very helpful, with Rosario helping me to find a phamarcy open on Sunday after a bad sunbath on Etna. Good piece of advice about dining out and drinking something.

Rosario was amazing, he made sure that we had all the information that we needed and he was just a charming and fun person to spend time with in general. He is a musician and had all the inside knowledge of where to go and what to see. The atmosphere there is super friendly and retro. We had the chance to meet the decorator/designer of the hostel and she did a fantastic job of creating a unique style that added to the stay. I highly recommend this location.

Rosario and Jitka are fantastic!! So friendly and helpful without being pushy. The location can be a bit intimidating, but the little piazza and the hostel itself are a delight.

My stay at C.C. Ly hostel was amazing. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hostel was clean and had a great kitchen with wonderful views. It was a home away from home. One of my favourite hostels, ever.

I truly had an excellent staying there. I am now in Palermo and am not so happy about my youth hostel as I think I was truly spoilt in this one. I might go back earlier in order to get more confortable again.

This is an awesome place, everything is perfect. Especially the stuff really welcome you and make you feel like home here. This place is in a lovely building with funky decors. We had a excellent view of Mt Etna.

Loved this hostel! The people who work here welcome you as family and are there to answer any questions, but dont smother you if you want your space. Good kitchen space and everything you need to cook (minus microwave). Close walk to water, very close to a big grocery store. Overall best hostel we stayed at in Italy!

Excellent Staff. I really enjoyed my stay and I'll be coming back. Everything I needed was there. I particularly like the kitchen. Such a good idea to have two workstations. Thoroughly recommended!

Fabulous hotel with wonderful, helpful staff! They helped me with my busses by calling up the services to ask the questions I had asked, that they could not. However, the hostel is in a part of the city that is piú brutta, and would reccomend being part of a group travelling in this part of Catania. It's a beautiful city, but on the street here I felt very unsafe. Again, the staff are very friendly, offering movies, tea, conversation plus clean sheets and wonderful working showers.

What can I say ? The friendliest and coolest hostel I've ever been to. I liked the fact that it is small, usually rather quiet and has a big kitchen, leisure room (Ideal for working with my computer) and tv room. b_d

C.C.Ly is a fantastic hostel. The staff/owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, the rooms are new, clean and nicely decorated. The common areas and kitchen provide a great spot to make new friends, look at the great view of Mt Etna, and surf the web with free wifi! High speed wifi works throughout the hostel, and is legitimately high speed. Two big thumbs up for C.C.Ly, they deserve every positive rating they get! Highly recommend!

The hostel is wonderful! The staff is so nice and friendly, there is a very nice atmosphere that makes you feel like at your own home. There are lockers in the room to put your things inside. Everything is clean. Breakfast is not included in price, but it costs only 3E and you get everything, The best of all are the staff that are being so friendly and make you don't want to leave :-)
