The wifi did not extend to my dorm room. 4 person dorm was very small/pokey. No room to move. Not enough showers for the amount of guests. Whilst one staff member was excellent and gave me a great spiel on Vancouver, the staff member that greeted me upon my arrival at midnight was less than helpful/friendly. Would not stay here again, there are better hostels to choose.

Location is not far from downtown and really close to the train/bus station, but this is not the area where you want to be alone at night, you get constantly bothered by beggars. Hostel is quite old, one of the two free beds in my room was dirty. Lockers in the rooms cannot be locked, front door wasn't locked after 10 pm as promised. The whole place is a bit crappy, but I think you get what you pay for. Staff is friendly and helpful though.

Not a bad place to stay, but seems to be more a residence for short-term workers rather than a hostel to meet people and to socialise. There's a 9.30pm curfew for guests and for use of the facilities, which is a bit strict, but I can understand that they're trying to keep the place secure. Good location and decent rooms - not bad for the money. A lot cheaper than HI and other hostel chains, but far less sociable.

Good location next to Greyhound terminal, that's about all. Only stayed for one night for a quick stop over. Wouldn't want to stay any longer

I liked that it was near the train station and next to international district. but, I had reserved a bed in a 6 bed mixed room but was put into a room with only 2 beds. i didn't like that. People live there like its an communal apartment. When i got into my room the other person stuff was all over the room. Felt like i was intruding in someone's home. I see why now most hostels only let you stay for 2 weeks or so. Also the bathrooms were very under kept and unsanitary.

Hostel was ok, super close to G P station. I only had to stay one night. The man running it was so rude and unhelpful that it completely detracted from any positive aspect that the place had to offer. Find somewhere else to stay because this hostel is not worth it!

The room was perfect and it was everything that I needed for a short stay in Vancouver. The only thing I had was my garbage bin in my room wasn't emptied for the longest time and the sink in our room wasn't clean at all. Every thing else was fine and I will stay at this hostel again in the future thank you for your kind hospitality.

The location was great (one block from the Greyhound and skytrain), but I would not recommend this hostel if you are a solo female traveller. The staff was great and the hostel was clean for hostel standards, but there were some people there of sketchy nature. As a Canadian who has travelled all around Europe I have to say I am disappointed in this hostel for allowing such people to stay there. Did not feel safe at all

Although the hostel is incredibly cheap, you get much more than you pay for - great service, short walk to downtown, right near the greyhound station! Rooms are very small but have all the necessities, and always lots of hot water. Would definitely stay here again!
