Desk staff was great and very kind. Located right next to train is a plus. Building is above a bar and smells like smoke. It is very loud from traffic and street noise at night.

i.ve stay in better police cells it was that bad

very dissapointing hostel. i have stayed in many hostels and never come across one like this.every aspect of the hostel was poor, dirty, smelly, unsafe and we felt the majority of people staying there are not the kind of strangers you want to be sharing with. the only positive was the staff on reception especially Mike who was friendly and helpful. i would not recommend this hostel to anyone as for the same price you can get alot better hostels in the area.

Friendly stuff, but the rooms itself were dirty, the beds uncomfortable, linen seemed to be many years old. People staying in the hostel were mostly kind of scary. Many homeless people around the hostel. Ok for one night. I would not recommend it to younger backpackers.

Bed Bugs!!!! even we wear long pants and long sleeves clothes, we still got a lot of bites, Also, i was kinda fresk out after the first night, so i wear jacket and cover my head, and i had 10 bites on my face, i dont know what kind of bugs it is, but very bad!! the hostel changed the room for us after 2 nights, still have the same problem.

Best thing about this hostel is the location. Right on Main St and 5 minutes from the train station. Close to China town and the Skytrain. This place was absolutely disgusting. I saw bugs crawling everywhere. The room, the hallway, the toilets, the shower. Speaking of the shower, AWFUL. One shower for the entire floor and it was the filthiest shower I have ever been in. I only used it once and went with wet wipes the next day. No atmosphere here, just a bunch of creepy old guys.
