Great location, room was huge and staff kind enough. One of the best budget choices in Venice I must believe. Even though it looks old from the outside the room is nice, clean and contemporary.
Generally disappointing. Excellent location, however that sums up the advantages. The room are small and not heated even when needed. The shower draining was clogged, the toilets were not clean enough. The breakfast, although exists, is made of prepacked, not fresh food and is generally advised to avoid eating it. Italy's most simple coffee places offer a much better quality in less than 10 EUR for breakfast.

Our experience in Venice overall was that everyone tried to rip us off, and this place was no exception. It isn't a b&b, its a 2* hotel that offers a basic breakfast that would be better in a hostel for an hour each morning, 7-8am which is way earlier than most tourists wake up. Only thing that was nice about our room was we had our own entrance we shared w/ only one other room like ours. They don;t offer room svc and barely give you enough soap/shampoo when you check in. Only+ staff were okay
After a rocky start checking in, the hostel was great. Very convenient location and the room was very clean. Breakfast was wonderful. Would definitely recommend.
We found old tissues near the bed, the stairs were dirty and there's no common room! But the staff is nice and the hostel is in the center of venice! there's no problem to get it by night, it's quite secure! Also the room was quie fresh which was amazing because it was very hot outside! the breakfast was average!
We went to Venice at a very hot time, so we made sure to book only hostels with AC. Although this hostel advertised that they had AC, there was none in the rooms and the only form of ventilation was a slow-moving fan on the ceiling. The first night, the room was like a sauna. When we asked for our money back for the second night but the staff refused to give it, saying they advertised "only AC in the bathroom." We ended up just leaving - this was the only place we needed to do that on the trip.
Hard to find, although we had directions, it would have been a little easier if road names were used, so we could pinpoint exactly where we were. Once found it was 2minutes from the bus stop. Room was very nice one of the best in our stay in Italy and it needed to be. Breakfast was poor, just packaged dry food, nothing fresh and healthy. Would have been great to have had a cooked breakfast and even some water left out for us. No extras at all atmosphere poor!
Absolutely loved this hostel. We would definitely come back here! It is a bit of a walk from the bus station, but it is totally worth it. The concierge was one of the nicest people we met in Europe and extremely accommodating. If you're looking for a quaint, niche experience, this is the place.
