It was not what we were expecting. We were in a separate building from the main "desk" and the wifi in our room didn't work so we had to walk to the main building to get any connection. The building was kind of hard to find and about a 30 min walk from the train station.The guy who checked us in was very nice but was confused about who we were when we arrived. Our room did not look anything like the pictures. Definitely not as welcoming as other hostel experiences.

The wifi doesn't work in our room. As the receptionist is about 2 Stories up from the entrance, he is not able to hear the doorbell ring. We had to stand at the front door for about 5 mins before someone actually answers. We have to navigate a labyrinth of dark , narrow alleys before reaching the hostel but I guess unless you stay in a waterfront hotel, you won,t have this type of convenience given the geography of Venice

It is nice to stay at a place where you feel that actually are in Venice. Location is very good with two vaporettos stations. However the bed sheets were not very clean. The breakfast is simple but good to start the day. Internet very good.

Check in time is at 130pm and pls do note it. Plan your trip according to the time so as to not waste ya time in venice. Rooms were cosy except that it was a little cold during winter.
