We enjoyed our holidays in your hostel very much. We had a very large & nice room, everything was clean, the matresses were excellent, a very nice bathroom & even a small room with a table &2 chairs, heating & warm water whenever we wanted. The location is excellent, about 15 min. to San Marco & Rialto. The staff was very friendly, the coffe very good. The only thing negative is the breakfast, but ok for the price we payed. We took, like the Italians, a second one with a sandwich.

Th reservation was very bad. In the middle of september i booked for the carneval in february two nights. Nothing of minimum staying were metioned. Three months after booking the hotel canceled the reservation with the reason that they have a minimum staying with three night and we could not come. There was a mistake on the side of the hotel, but then we have many troubles to get back the money and to find another hotel in november for the carneval. I cannot recommend it

They lost our reservation and didn\'t have any more rooms available. Then they tried to tell us it was our fault because we \"booked too far in advance.\" Luckily, two girls staying there had a fight and left early, so we were able to have their room.

Room very clean, beds comfortable, Bed covers rather worn, very comfortable in cold weather - only downside was bad smell at times from drains in bathroom.

It was a little bit hard to find, but a great place to stay. I would absolutely recommend this hostel to anyone looking to stay in a great location in Venice for a decent price!

when we ask for the location , the staff did not tell us that there are no water bus from ROMA square to hostel's stop after 4.pm. we have to walk in dark and cold and fear. and then after we found the hostel , we rang thebell for 20mins and nobody asked. if you arrive at Venice after 4.pm, please choose other hostel

i think there\'s critical false/inadequate information on the booking page. though it says 24hr reception(security), hostel staff was hardly there. They change towels and clean rooms ONLY every 5 days. (i dont know if it\'s true cos other guests told us their towels were changed. ramdom service, anyway.) The kitchen is open ONLY until 2pm. Wifi reception is so lousy. i would never ever go back there.

Basically a simple place to sleep at night without the bells and whistles. Staff are not present very often other than the house keeper who cleans the washrooms. Owner is nice but not extremely personable. Location is fantastic, very near a water bus stop and Piazza San Marco.

The location is quite good and the bathroom was clean. Bedroom had mould on the walls, the heating was inconsistent (not ideal for Dec-Jan visit) and the breakfast was terrible - pre-packaged food. They could improve by having the heating controlled by guests and having cereal or toast for breakfast instead of plastic wrapped biscuits. Wi-Fi connection was also horrendous. So we didn't see any value in staying there, especially at inflated NYE prices.

It is NOT as described. There is one tiny dirty bathroom to be shared among ALL guests; it does not have any ventilation, lots of mold, no hot water & the shower head falls down constantly throughout shower. In the rooms, there are extremely dirty floors, no curtains in room to block out constant light (making it hard to sleep), and very old and improper blankets. The internet is extremely slow/ unreliable & only accessible on the third floor. Really terrible breakfast. Only cash for payment.

Changed my book in the last minute offering another room in another hostel. Walking with luggage around Venice is not the funniest thing to do. We were supposed to get a room with similar conditions but it was a two beds room instead of a big single bed and neither we get the private bathroom we paid for. We tried to contact the hotel back, but when the stuff realized it was us calling they just hung up the phone.

If you can sacrifice other things for location, then stay here because it's one of the only hostels on the main island of Venice which is really convenient. However, it is very unprofessionally run. We booked a private double, arrived and they didn't book correctly and put us in a four bed. Our charge was 48 euro, so we paid 50 and they didn't have change. You have to ring hte bell for the main office, and one morning we had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to answer.
