The hostel was overbooked, the room we booked through hostelworld was not available when we arrived. But we were offered a good alternative room in a nearby hotel, so in the end we were still satisfied.
Staying here was delightful. The hostel (more appropriately called a bed and breakfast) is in a residential home. We had a ton of room to spread out and create some personal space again, which hosteling in Europe usually doesn't afford. Jazz was wonderfully helpful and gracious upon our arrival.
One of the most amazing B&B we've even been to. The place is very nice (exactly as it looks in pictures) and the atmosphere is calm. Jazz was lovely and helped us with any doubts we had. The location is quite far from the center (20-30min walk) but the neighborhood is very nice and definitely much better than the crowded touristic center. The only negative point is that you can't use the kitchen, but I guess it is usual in this kind of places. I would definitely recommend this place.
Ca' Della Musica was a great place, and Jazz was a nice host. The house was lovely and full of books. Really enjoy the stay. However, the host tried to make us check-out earlier than 11am so that she can prepare for her coming guests! Besides, it was weird to receive an email that I may receive an penalty for late show-up on check-in time!
This place is a fantastic find! Wonderful location, and the attention to detail was brilliant. Jaz the owner was so helpful and made us feel very welcome. I would not hesitate to recommend this place and hope to return.
I was blown away by this B

Ca' Della Musica was absolutely lovely and Jazz a perfect hostess. The location (although hard to find at first) was great and gave you a real experience of the Venice in which people live but was still convenient for getting to the more touristy areas. The room was very spacious and the bathroom had a great shower. A great place to stay if you want to be a bit off the beaten track and want to experience other side of Venice.
