Location, service and accomodation were perfect. Alex is the man!
I had a great stay. Alex was helpful and friendly. I travelled alone and felt very safe and comfortable. I have 0 complaints
Alex is a tremendously welcoming and helpful host. The house is comfortable, clean, quiet and in a very pleasant location, away from the madding crowds which throng so much of Venice. If ever I go back to Venice, I would always choose to stay at Ca' Della Pieta'.

Alex was VERY friendly host. Maybe too friendly. I felt a bit uncomfortable. I wanted to adjust my stay and leave early, which I did, but I ended up paying more than I would have to stay at a hotel with air conditioning, private bath & large bed just to get out of there. The pillow case was dirty, stapled on & the breakfast was a yogurt from the frig (I didn't take one.)
The place is far from the train station but it is really close to the amazing top areas. Alex, the couch was really helpful and cool. There are two shared bathroom-toilette, but you don't feel like these are shared because there is only three room for rent. If I would visit Venice again, I'll stay there again without any doubt.
Excellent location! Alex, the owner, is super kind. Thanks to him, staying in Ca' Della Pieta' feels more like staying at a friend's place than in a hostel!
Amazing place. Like a home. Super clean. Owner is super helpful and friendly. Small place, easy to meet other travellers. Great wifi. Everything was perfect!
Alex was great and really cared about making all of his guests feel welcomed. He was also very helpful providing us with information about Venice and great areas to escape the busy tourism. Overall it was a great staystay, fantastic location and quite humorous host. Thank you for everything Alex!
The staff was extremely accomodating. We checked in much later than anticipated, and he was very flexible. The location is great- very close to San Marco. The hostel could be a bit cleaner- the bathrooms were not so clean, but for us it was not a problem. We always felt safe, and for a weekend trip, we didn't need anything more.
The owner of this hotel is an absolute gentleman. The place is close to every thing in Venice and the ferries are very close also. Will be back for sure!
This place was awesome! We made a switch to stay here at the last minute and it was the best choice we made. Alex, the guy who runs the hostel is just as nice and cool as everyone says. The building is super close to San Marcos square but still far enough away that we didn't hear storms of tour groups running past our room. Alex had tons of great advice on where to go and what to do. He let us borrow his umbrella when it rained AND let us keep or bags there way after check out. Highly recommend!
The host Alex is very helpful and friendly. the shared bathroom is downstairs so it's a bit inconvenient for some. My first time using B2B in Venice so I can't be curtained but I think the price/value is fair for the region
This is an apartment with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 room is for the owner). The location is pretty good...on a little side street (no view) but only a 5 min. walk from the main square (San Marco). The bathrooms are small and there's not really a place to hang out (just a small room when you enter that has a chair and desk). The owner is what makes this place nice. He is really friendly and gives you lots of tips on what to do/where to eat...he goes over the city map with you.
Alex was a nice and friendly host, he helped us in every way. Nice location and atmosphere. We really had good time here. Strongly recommend !
