The lady who runs the place is really nice. The rooms are nice and clean. There is airconditioning wich was and plus. The wifi is not that great though, we almost never had any reception. Other than that really good!

The hostel is located just up the road from the train station (once you come out of the tunnel). It is literally steps from there, and if you have heavy luggage (like me and my friend did), this is great news! The room had a balcony and overlooked the main street. It was clean and comfortable and roomy. The only comment was that the host was not at the hostel when we checked in, and we had to seek help from an Italian lady who lives on the 1st floor of the building. We loved Manarola!

Simple but lovely place to stay, in one of the beautiful village's in Cinque Terre. It was a small room but it was clean, in a great location, and easy to find. The owner was friendly and recommended a great restaurant to eat at. Would definitely recommend this place.

The location was very easy to get to and the owner was quite friendly. The room had AC and was quite clean. Don't expect much from the view though, it's facing the apartment in front of it but the location is very good for going to the beach or the restaurants. There is a great gelato place just under the building! ;)

My brother and I stayed here at the beginning of August and we absolutely loved our stay! The hotel manager, Sergio, was incredibly nice and saw to the arrangement of our rooms himself. He even gave us his phone number if we needed anything. If/when I go back to Cinque Terre, I will definitely be staying here!

Our stay at Ca' de Gianchi was like a breath of fresh air. OIt was the 6th stop on our vacation and before then we had a couple of nasty encounters.. We were welcomed, given brochures and "inside information" into the top restaurants and things to do / avoid during our visit of Cinque Terre. Our restaurant reservation at Billy's was even made for us and what an experience! We agreed Billy's won our best waiter and restaurant for the trip award!

Location is very good, in the center of Manarola. The entrance gate opens from inside and there should be a sing "ca'de gianchi".. Owner is very nice and funny and helpful. Do NOT leave your staff laying around in the room, there is small ants..

Manarola is a magical town.. after 3 days (in July) there it definitely has become our favorite place in the world! Ca'de Gianchi is a perfect accommodation: clean spacious rooms, far enough from the bell tower, close to the sea and restaurants. And of course the man who carries this house is very very friendly!

Great apartment-style hostel. AC was a major plus in the summer. Sergio is really helpful. A refrigerator would have been nice.

This was one of the best places that we stayed on our trip! The owner was awesome, so friendly! He made sure we had everything that we needed. The room opened up onto a porch viewing the main street. I will go back there again if the opportunity arises

We really enjoyed our stay at Ca' de Gianchi. The location was fantastic - right on the main street of Manarola and within two minutes walk of the sea. The room was clean and nicely finished, and we had a lovely balcony that overlooked the town and allowed us to hang our things to dry. The owner was lovely and always willing to provide advice about the sights and restaurants, etc. I would highly recommend this hostel!
