This place is incredible. If you're thinking about booking here, you shouldn't wait another second. I stayed here with my boyfriend and we loved every second. The house is gorgeous with its traditional Italian decor, and our room (and private balcony) had a spectacular view of Lake Como. Alessandro was extremely helpful and gracious, making sure we were happy and well-fed! The breakfast was so good we bought the same meat and cheese he served to take home. Can't recommend it highly enough!

This hostel stay was absolutely marvelous. Allessandro, the owner and operator, is a one-man machine! From the welcoming wine bottle, to the amazing breakfasts, to the room upgrade (we were the only people in the hostel during our stay), to the discounts at the local butcher (his father), Ca Spiga was the best little Italian hideaway for us! I would definitely recommend it, for the value for money and the incredible hospitality that we received.
