I did not feel safe because you could not lock the room and I had the idea that anyone could easily walk inside the hotel. The rooms were very cold, but luckily there was a heater in the room they switched on when you asked for it. The rooms were a bit poor and the beds unstable. The expectacions were high because of the rate that this hostel has but unfortunately not lived up to.

Great hostel, clean with a fab design on the big wall. Good kitchen and dining area, play room with pool table, courtyard. Nice dorms. Hostels in a great location and nice English speaking staff, only thing I would say is that there's only one girls bathroom with 2 showers and 2 toilets so if the hostels full it would be a problem.

Great place, near Independance plaza. It's about a 25-minute walk from the ferry to Buenos Aires. Close to the main street of Montevideo. Small hostel (which is a good thing in my opinion), two showers per gender, two toilets, two sinks. Commun areas are well-thought : high ceiling, a lot of place to sit down, pool table... Maybe adding a fridge would be a good idea and getting a better stove and better cooking gear. The staff keep it clean and it has a good atmosphere. I would go there again.

The Hostel is in a great location in la Ciudad Vieja. While it is generally safe, the hostel itself doesn't have the best security apparatuses to prevent someone from entering the hostel if he/she wants to. Otherwise, the hostel is beautiful and has the amenities I expect from any noteworthy hostel. On both occasions I have stayed there, though, the atmosphere was not as social as I would expect.

Kitchen is big and nice. Brekfast is ok, like it usually is in Uruguay. Only 2 showers and 2 bathrooms for girls. Crowded in the morning. The rooms are big and the locker is big. Need you own lock, they don't have one to borrow. It feld really safe. Common area is big, but people are doing they own things... Location is good. Easy to find and easy to walk around the area. Wifi works sometimes better and sometimes not that good.

Overall pretty great hostel, but it could improve a few things. Clean the bathrooms more often, they were pretty dirty and smelly. Invest in some new pots and pans, handles seemed to be missing on lots of them.

Stayed 1 night in this beautiful hostel. Very nice common area with patio for smokers. Kitchen is well equipped and clean. Our room was spacious with balcony and high ceilings throughout the hostel. Staff were very nice and more than helpful even let us check in early.

We stayed here for only one night. The beds were a little bit uncomfortable. Our bunk bed in the girls dorm didn't even had a stair to climb to the upper bed. the breakfast was enough but not vary tasty. The staff were ok, sort of there but not incredibly helpful. The best part about this hostel it's it perfect location, the common spaces and the cleanliness.

Good kitchen and dining area, dorm was next to the outside area so a bit loud. Good common areas, with pool table and sofas, excellent location 15min walk from centre of downtown, not far from places to eat and supermarkets. Possibly needed one more toilet. Would definitely recommend...

Really good group of people during our stay, plus a decent location, being a 10 minute walk from La Plaza de Independencia. Dorms were fine and there was lots of space to relax inside of the hostel, which had a cool interior.

Nice place, really well located a block from 18 De Julio. Clean, spacious although only 2 ladies showers but I never had to wait. Unfortunately there is working gone on outside the hostel at the mo which may disturb those sleeping in the front dorms. WiFi good when you can get connected but connection problems when many in hostel. Good breakfast.

Cozy hostel with helpful staff and perfect if you want to meet new people. I stayed 1 night and basically I talked with half the people there thanks to the sociable atmosphere the hostel conveys. Decent location for Montevideo, everthing you need around. I liked that the sheets and rooms where clean. standard breakfast. I suggest you rent the bikes they have for really cheap fees and take a ride along the coast line.

The staff were friendly and made you feel welcomed right as you walked in. Mariano really made the effort to help you get situated. I managed to organize a ride from the airport to the hostel which was haste free and made my life incredibly easy.
