CabanaCopa is set next to Morro de São João park, just a few minutes' walk from Copacabana beach. This clean, friendly hostel offers a good balance of nightlife and quiet atmosphere, with an onsite bar open until around 10pm. It also has some nice little essential features, like a free and varied breakfast and plug sockets at each bed. Hostelworld guests tell us they'd stay here again and will recommend it to friends.

Located three blocks from the famous Copacabana Beach, one block from the metro and next to a beautiful natural park, were waiting to welcome you to Rio!
Our large colonial house is fully renovated with new clean spacious dorms and bathrooms with hot showers and excellent social areas (indoor and outdoor), in a street with 24hr security.
We offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere with free Brazilian breakfast, free high-speed internet and Wi-Fi, free bed linen, free maps and tourist info, free drinkable water, ceiling fans, big individual lockers and free luggage storage. Theres no curfew so you can enjoy the best of Rio at any time of day or night!
We have double bunk beds (no triples!), women-only dorms, two fully equipped kitchens, a cool bar with music and a pool table, a lounge with a 42 LCD TV and DVDs, an open-air backyard with BBQ, free book exchange, towels, hairdryers, and ironing facilities.
Nearby you can find all sorts of restaurants, bars, clubs, supermarkets, banks, laundry services, shops and easy transport to all parts of the city. We are next to a 36km park with wildlife, eco-hiking and even a football court available.
Our friendly and helpful staff speak great English and are happy to help you book flights or exchange money. We know all the best events, activities and parties in Rio!
For CARNIVAL (Min. 7 nights - 07 to 15-02-2013), NEW YEARS (Min. 5 nights - 28-12-2012 to 02-01-2013), ROCK IN RIO (Min. 5 nights - 11 to 23-09-12) & CONFEDERATIONS CUP (15-30 June 2013) period 100% prepayment is compulsory. The remaining 90% balance will be due directly after the on-line booking is made. The guest must contact the property to arrange payment. Failure to pay the remaining balance will result in cancellation. If the booking is cancelled one month before arrival - 50% of the prepayment will be refundable, after that booking is non-refundable.

We're in a unique location near the beach, next to a park where you can see the jungle in the middle of Copacabana Beach. The nearest attractions are, of course, Copacabana Beach and the Sugar Loaf, but the one place that I recommend to guests is Copacabana Fort.

I think this hostel is perfect for backpackers who want to stay in a good location at a budget price, or anyone else, although we don't allow children. For fun people like to play cards and pool, watch movies and socialise in the cinema lounge, have a drink at the bar, cook big meals in the kitchen or even cook a barbecue in the patio area. We also have some great extras like air conditioning and blackout curtains in most of the rooms.- Ian, Owner
