Once you get there, it is a really great secluded place with a small beach. To reach the hostel, you can either take a taxi boat (approx. 20 R$ per person if you are 4 people, or 80 R$ per boat) or walk the T10 shown on the map from the tourist information. This took us about 1 1/4 hours, walking at medium speed with our bags. There is no supermarket there, so stock up in Abraão if you want to cook.

The place was amazing. You stay in some kind of hut/tent with a large bed inside. The beach is directly outside your door. Once you got to Vila do Abrão you have to take another boat which takes you to Praia Brava, where the Cabanas Paraiso is. I enjoyed it very much.

I never made it to this hostel. I was very disappointed to have found out that no one seemed to know where on Ilha Grande this was. When I finally found out that it was located on the other side of the island far far away from everything. A taxi boat would have cost $50 or more to have gotten there. Also, the place is mostly campgrounds with one restaurant. The instructions to get there were only to Angra which is where you catch the boat to the island and then no further instructions.
