We were in room-bungalow 61,very clean, charming and fresh at night thanks to the palm roof. But Wifi is only by the swimming-pool.No Wifi in the restaurant were you have your breakfast.Because it is 5 minutes "dirty" road walk from Cabarete center,it is quiet at night but far when it is raining as it was during our 4 nights stay.We are in an other place now in center Cabarete for 9 nights with tables and chairs to work with very good Wifi.I loved the charm of CH but to far from center and no Wifi

Cool place to meet people and a good hub for kiting and surfing. Nice tropical garden and swimming pool. Many mosquitos, so you really need a good bug spray.

Absolutely loved this place. The staff is incredible. The atmosphere is very relaxed, peaceful and welcoming. The lagoon is spectacular! Our room was cozy and cleaned frequently. I would go back in a heartbeat! Oh, and eat at the restaurant! Their churasco is AMAZING and so is the ambiance.

Absolutely fantastic! The Cabarete Hostel---also known as Ali's Surf Camp---draws a great group of backpackers and surfers/kiteboarders, which comes as a relief in a town swarmed with family vacationers. The location is an easy walk from the main strip, yet far enough away to avoid the noise of screeching motorcycles all night long. Brilliant laid-back atmosphere, and really nice facilities. The included breakfast and dinner offer a good opportunity to socialize with like-minded travelers.
