It's very well located, right next to the town center and supermarket. The room was well kept, but the bathroom was a bit small. Breakfast was nice, typically a plate of fruit with either eggs or toast. Overall a good value.

I really enjoyed this hostel- we stayed in a private double which had a double and a single bed as well as a fridge and good shower. There's free breakfast every day which is really, really good and the staff were hugely helpful in offering tour information and maps, and assisting if we had any needs. There's a good communal area with hammocks and deckchairs and a well stocked kitchen. It's seconds away from a supermarket and the town centre - definitely recommend.

The staff was very nice and usually helpful . They provide a map with all the activities in the area and 3 computers to use. The location is very handy, being less than a block from the "square". The breakfasts were fair and the rooms very nice.

The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. We were met at the bus and walked to the hostel. They arranged activities for us and we were picked up at the hostel and delivered back there for our activities. Diego Rocks!!! It was our best time of the 2 weeks we spent in CR. We were sad to leave.

Great place to stay! Friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful staff. Diego booked us some GREAT tours! Delicious breakfast in the morning! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. Great location on a side road meant that it was pretty quiet at night, but we were still very close to the center of town. I will definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Santa Elena

Great little hostel just down the hill from the supermarket. Near the center, but away from noise and most tourists. We spent a bit extra ($1/person) for a room with private bath and fridge and it was worth it. We were able to sit and relax, breakfast was great, and the staff was helpful--especially Diego--and we were able to socialize as much as we wanted. Lots of rules, but they're reasonable, and it makes for a comfortable place to call home in Monteverde. Nicer than the pictures!

The staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful. From the time we checked in the receptionist was great at helping get information on different things to do in Monteverde. The location was great...one minute walk from the main area in town.

Very welcoming and perfect for what we needed. Girlfriend and I got one of the private rooms with shared bathroom. The bedroom was just that, a bed in a small room, but for the price and considering where you are, a place to sleep is all one should want. It was so easy to book everything through them, even emailed one of the owners a couple weeks before and she organized the shuttle from Liberia for us. Supermarket is 1 minute walk and with free breakfast and coffee/tea all day... wonderful!
