We only stayed for one night. It´s fairly impersonal but the rooms and bathrooms are spotless with a fan and a TV, it is also an easy walk to town or the supermarket.

We stayed in La fortuna for a day. La fortuna is a very small town and finding this place was very easy. We were amazed at the cleanliness of the place. It was a quiet, neat room with Arenal's view. Lupita was very helpful to us and also got a good deal on our canopy tour with Mundo ventura tours (they have very good cables). On the whole it was a very very nice place to stay.Good food available close by. Will surely recommend it!

This was another nice place to stay in La Fortuna area. The price was right and the room was good. Pick a room with a window and youll sleep with a great breeze all night long. Lupita was a sweet lady and she treated my girlfriend and I like family. The place is a little hard to find, cause its a side street that no one really goes through. However, your only a block away from the main park. PS. go to the LAVA LOUNGE and get food there.. best place to eat and cheep.

This hostel was definitely not the best I've visited, but is not the worst either. Their staff though seemed a bit unaware and the owner was unreachable at times to clear up money issues. Its not in the center of town so you walk down a few darker blocks but I was with a friend and I never felt in danger. All in all, an adequate stay.

Cabinas Lupita was the nicest hostel that I stayed in during my 1 month stay in Costa Rica. The rooms were clean, beds comfy and staff lovely, I would certainly recommend the hostel to a friend.

Easy walking distance to town and definitely not crowded when we were there. Lupita made a nice breakfast for us, but I´d recommend asking before how much it will cost as that was a slight confusion on our end. Be prepared to use your Spanish too!

This place was awesome! Lupita was very nice. She even let us use her washer and dryer. The rooms were quite spacious and clean. There was even a TV in the room with a bunch of channels. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone staying in La Fortuna!
