The staff were awesome and such a great help! So friendly! Thank you Dave! Really good hostel, very happy with our stay.

Very clean place, but way too expansive for what you get. It is the first time that I have to make the bed in a hostel and that i have to pay for the wifi (in an area whitout signal so it's pretty much the only way to go on the internet). It would be ok if it was a cheap way of accomodation but it's not (about 24pounds a night). As a compareason, in the city center of Edinburgh you can get a bed in a nice, cosy, warm hostel (with free coffe, tea, wifi for about 13 pounds.)

We were running late and David (on reception) was very patient, giving us directions and waiting for us to arrive. In the end it was well gone eleven o'clock at night when we arrived yet we were greeted with a smile. Thank you.

We liked the hostel, but we think it's something between a hostel and a hotel. There were a lot of families and older guests as well so if you're looking for comfort it's good. But if you're looking to meet new people and a cheap place to stay I would recommand finding an other hostel

While the hostel itself was nice, keep in mind when booking that you are not actually in Aviemore. It's about six miles out, and there's no good place to get groceries. Additionally, reception keeps odd hours so if you need anything in the middle of the day you will probably be out of luck. That said, the location is perfect for going hiking and relaxing and the beds are fairly comfortable.

I would love to come back.... great Staff!!!
