Loved the Lodge. Our only comment is that the computer system used for checking in and other admin seemed to take a ridiculously long time, which meant queues at Reception during busy periods. (Perhaps due to poor internet access?) Felt sorry for the staff (and the guests!)

The staff at Cairngorm Lodge was extremely helpful and kind!

Excellent location fro trekkin and bike routes in the area. Very high standards of cleanliness and staff very friendly, specially Alan.

I enjoyed my stay, the staff were friendly and very helpful, and the hostel was in a lovely location. The facilities were also very good. Two minor comments - there were a lot of rules written on the walls about what you should and shouldn't do, which takes away any homely feel (even down to what height you have to be to play pool). Second prices were displayed all over: buy our shampoo (£1), buy a scone (50p), buy postcards of the paintings on the wall (£8), which was a bit unnecessary

Our stay was brilliant - the staff are so friendly and helpful, the place is kept really warm and clean, the bunks are comfortable, it's in a great location with a lively wooden pine bar/pub opposite, the hostel provides breakfast if you need it plus a packed lunch if you're out for the whole day and don't want to pay huge prices while you're out, there's a little conservatory with a view of the mountain (and the chickens!) to eat breakfast in, and I never had to wait to use any facilities.
