Staff were fantastic, really helped me to sort my travel plans out for my trip. They couldnt do enough for me which was great as i didnt have a clue where to start. Room was great and the location was the best it could possibly have been. Would defo recomend this hostel to anyone wanting a great location, at a great price, with great staff. This is in the IDEAL location! Close to the marina, food locations and cool shopping. The staff was the most helpful! They helped me book reef trips and a rental car. Backpacker located right in front of the Esplanade (Lagoon, shops and restaurants). However, the twin rooms are extremely small and the air conditionning system very noisy. Could also be more clean. Great location right across from the lagoon, dorm beds were decently comfy. Bathroom and shower in each dorm room was nice. One of the better hostels to book trips from. Not the best hostel for hanging out or meeting folks though. For nearby dorms the same price checkout Bellview next door, nicer rooms and more comfortable beds (however no internet). Bus and airport shuttle stops right in front of the Bellview. Carvella, has better hang out spots and deals on single persons in rooms.
