I stayed at Cairns Waterfront Bacpackers for 2 nights and felt like the staff tried to do everything possible to make my stay pleasurable.My room was cleaned everyday and the kitchen was kept clean and tidy all the time.This place is in the best location.Great value for money.

There were cockroaches in our room and when we told management, this did not seem to bother them and they didn't help in killing them (there was a nest). The sheets were dirty. Kitchen was atrocious, other people at the hostel stole our food and there was no dishwashing liquid for 3 days so people simply rinsed the ustensils and put them away which is disgusting. Location was perfect. Hostel was very loud in middle of night as everyone was coming home drunk. Not a very good experience.

this place was right in town but it was bad!!! staff where rude it wasnt clean people wherent friendly

An awesome place to stay, at a perfect location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free dinners are a plus point.
