Actually, there weren't such a great view from the balcony, which we were looking for. Hotel is on the second floor. Location is really good, 5 minutes from the Egyptian museum by foot, 5 minutes from the bus station by taxi. Staff is helpful and affable. But when we asked about tea, they didn't tell us that it have to be paid. We knew about that before living. Room was clean, but there were cockroaches.

we stayed only 3 nights at the Cairo Inn (unfortunately). The room was clean, lovely and perfect. Located right on Talat Harb Square and in walking distance to everything definatel made up for the traffic noise in the morning. Bahaa the host is kind, generous and very friendly as were all of his staff. I'll be going back for more on my next visit. and Before chosing Cairo Inn we walked a while around and looked at other hotels, it seems to us this is the best budget one in the area

Cairo Inn is a lovely place, clean, well managed and in the heart of the city so very convenient to go everywhere...we had the best room with the balcony so you can lounge and watch the circle and see to he city lights. Service is great and the common room is perfect for meeting other tourists and foreigners who are visiting. Upon arrival I had a very short amount of time and a tour was expedited for me to Luxor and Aswan and thankfujlly I got to see the Pyramids, Muhammad Ali Mosque .

i visited Cairo last December and had the pleasure of living at the cairo inn . It is a nice clean place in the heart of Cairo, only five minutes walk from Tahrir Square. The rooms and the hotel was very clean and with good amenities. If you are looking for a good clean place with a central location at a reaonable price, cairo inn cannot be beat. This hotel was rated a Best Buy by Lonely Planet and we totally agree. The owner bahaa knowledgable and helpful .Excellent value for money.

This hotel is perfectly located, just across the road from the Cairo Museum. The staff are extremely helpful and hospitable and make a real effort to ensure customers enjoy their stay. The rooms are comfortable, well priced and accommodation includes a lovely breakfast. The rooms are similar to a B&B and are best suited for couples or 2 freinds traveling together. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of visiting Cairo. iwe loved the location in the heart of doentown .

We had an amazing time in Egypt, thanks mostly to the Cairo Inn. They arranged a private driver and car to pick us up from the airport and take us around to all the important destinations. We could not have done it without them.

The hotel staff was very kind, polite, and helpful. The common area left you wanting more, but made sense for the price. I would recommend investing on some better windows to block out some of the road noise. A/c worked great which is essential in the summer months. Though this seems difficult, the entrance up to the Hotel would benefit from being fixed up (but i'm guessing this is not part of the hotel, thus thought not to be their responsibility)

Very good location, but of course very loud traffic (thin windows). Personnel is excellent and very helpful, the atmosphere is really friendly. The Breakfast is not much, but OK for the price. Only one manko for sensitive people: you can find rests of spots in the towels (so you'll maybe better use your own towel). But all in all a very good place to stay in the heart of Cairo!

Overall we had a good experience at Cairo Inn. We would definitely stay again. A good value and clean hotel, but probably better booking excursions elsewhere.

Equivalent to 2* hotel, clean bathroom, hot water, ac/heater,within walking distance to Egyptian Museum & underground station. Caution: Egyptions prey on tourists for money, so the price quoted to you is probably 4 times the value for service and comodity they sell. So negotiate to 25-50% of the quoted price. E.g to go to Giza take the underground metro for LE1/=, and take a taxi from there to the pyramids.

I loved this little Inn! I've traveled a lot and stayed in many hostels, etc. and this one is CLEAN, COMFORTABLE and SAFE. The owner, Bahaa, is very helpful without being pushy and the location is great. It has just opened and already I saw people coming in after hearing about it from other travelers. One couple was sad to leave to go join their tour group. Sitting on the balcony and watching the world go by is the best. I highly recommend this inn.

This place is great, brand new and really clean. I think they opened like mounth ago. Poeple are really nice and helpfull. It\'s maybe a little bit more expensive than the hostel but really worth it. You have a really nice common room (with wifi) and a chill terrasse on Talat Harb square(downtown).
