This hostel is located in great area, which is close to Egyptian Museum and metro station. All of staffs, especially Sleam and Wael are so kind and friendly. Rooms are clean and you can get a breakfast. Staffs made us so fun. I think this hostel will be the top of the hostel in Cairo soon. I absolutely recommend this hostel to everyone.

The hostel is OK for the price they\'re charging. The in room TV has a couple of Arabic channels only, rather do without TV and get cleaner bed sheets. The owner and staff gave misinformation regarding transport to airport so that they can offer the service and charge almost 2-1/2 times more than the taxi ride.

If you are looking for a hotel with a great location and value, this is the place. Easy to reach all the downtown attractions if you don\'t mind walking. Very near Attaba Metro stop to connect with other areas. Room was big and comfortable and clean. Staff did their best to satisfy your needs and were very friendly. It was peaceful even with road traffic(which became quiet at night). Our thanks to the staff for a great stay.

It's a good hostel. Clean and well located. If you need a bed and breakfast, it's perfect. The staff is helpfull but they want money on his pocket. The owner, organize trips around egypt, but you need to negociate well. Offer 40% of price it's enough.

This Hostel is amazing the staff are very friendly This is totally a home away from home. The most important thing is they offer free pick up from the airport, so you will immediately feel safe and secure, The driver Ahmed if great and they all speak english, so you can ask them anything. The location of the Hostel is perfect right on the heart of downtown Cairo walking distance for almost everything. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I love this Hostel/Hotel

These guys are extremely helpful, not only with providing very comfortable accommodations, but also with assisting in planning your time both in Egypt and, if you wish, the rest of Egypt. You will feel at home here, and you will be impressed by the personal attention they are willing to give their guests. In conclusion, this is a great place in a great location and, most importantly, with a staff that will help make your time in Cairo and Egypt that much more enjoyable. Go ahead and book it!!

I enjoyed my 6 night stay at Cairo Stars. The owner & staff are plenty nice enough, the room & hostel are very clean, breakfast is fine, tea & coffee are always to be had, WiFi is great,& I have no complaints about location. The bathroom was an all-in-one thing, but just fine. The room was spacious & tasteful, the a/c cold.If requested, the hostel works with an excellent driver named Yasser.2 min walk to Midan Opera, 5 to Midan Mataba, 15-20 to Khan al-Khalili, Midan Sadat/AUC,&Zamalak.Recommended!

Was pressured by the owner when we arrived to book day trips with the hostel and wouldnt let us to our room till we booked trips. The owners exchange rate is way off too, so watch out. Location is so-so since Cairo is so large. The day trips we took were several hours shorter than was told. We were only given 1 hour at the Pyramids/Sphynx. The rooms were full of flying bugs. Dont let them do your laundry, $27 USD a load, plus they were still dirty and missing clothes. I would never stay again.
