The welcome was friendly, the facilities good and the cost extraordinarily low. The breakfast area is totally informal; the landlord even volunteered to dry our drenched clothing overnight for us. Splendid views but the location is pretty isolated.
A lovely place to stay overnight on the Ring of Kerry. The view of Dingle Peninsula from the rooms is stunning - especially in the morning fog. The pub has a great atmosphere, especially when there is live music. Even on days when there is no band, the locals will spontaneously start to sing - magic!!! The hostel rooms on the top floor could be a little more comfy.i.e. a hook or two to hang the jackets will make a huge difference. As well as the bathrooms could a little cleaner.
