The hostel is located right on the N-70 across from one of the major tourist bus photo stops. It has a beautiful view over the bay. It seems to be brand new and everything is kept clean, including the self-accommodating kitchen. It's attached to a pub and a gift shop, and there's a cafe/shop/mart/gas station about two miles down the road. When we were there, it was VERY quiet. We walked to the mart for food--kind of scary since the N-70 is a highway. Overall, though, we had a great stay.

If we had seen the note about booking in after 7.30 we would not have booked. BUT that would have been pity as once booked in you can come and go as wished. Also says you can call to book different time. Even bar opened 7.30 so had to eat out first night. (its has pub as well). Place was modern refurbish on viewpoint just north of kells. Well equipped kitchen and lounge. No wifi. Think pub and hostel run by one person. Few people-because of 7.30 bit?

Very convinient for a one night stop. Good price for the quality.

A very comfortable hostel with a fabulous view of Dingle Bay. Not ideal for hikers because it can only be accessed along main road, but the premises includes a pub, and the hostel manager gave us a lift back to the Kerry Way (showing some of the sights on Kells en route!). Very comfortable double room with excellent en suite facilities - and great view. Good kitchen facilities and a good basic breakfast (including nice muesli and soda bread) provided. Highly recommended!

I was cold in the living room and very very cold in bathroom, but view was amazing. It was worth to be there.
