More of a hotel than a hostel. Excellent facilities for travelers including buffet breakfast, unlimited internet in the lobby, tea time and snacks at 4:45PM included in rate. Excellent staff! Warm and welcoming to foreigners. Recommend the more expensive rooms in the main building - they are newer. The "standard" rooms in the back are older and the bathrooms are not so clean. Very quiet, pleasant stay overall. Need a taxi to Malioboro - 20 minute ride @ $2.50. Borobudour 1 hour away.More of a hotel than a hostel. We asked for twin beds.Upon arrival,we confirmed with the staff that twin beds were available. As the room was not ready, we left our bags and came back at night. When we return,we’re given double bed,n told other rooms were full. The staff gave us an additional "bed",which was a mattress. My friend had to sleep on the uncomfortable mattress that night.Staff there spoke very little English as well so we had problems asking for info. The hotel is popular with locals so beware of the noise level. We asked for twin beds.Upon arrival,we confirmed with the staff that twin beds were available. As the room was not ready, we left our bags and came back at night.
