Great location for wandering around the city. Slept with the window open and it wasn't very noisy. Has a bar and massive area for hanging out and meeting people which was pretty cool. Also the breakfast was pretty sweet

The beds were super comfy, the staff was great, and we felt very safe there. The hostel is right by Prince's Street and is in easy walking distance of the Old City. It was great!

Great value for money - the room was clean with fresh bedding. Friendly, helpful staff. Awesome facilities, especially the computers and free internet which really came in handy to check / change flights.

The staff were very friendly. I couldn't have asked for a cooler group of people. The hostel has many computers you can use for free, so I felt really connected. I hope all of the services stay the same. The only thing I might suggest is having either meat or cheese available for breakfast. But all-in-all, the toast with jams and chocolate, juices, cereal and coffee made an ok breakfast.

I don't think I would've enjoyed my visit to Edinburgh that much I had chosen a different place to stay :) I absolutely recommend it!

This is definately one of the best hostels I've stayed in. It has a really friendly feel and there is always something to do. I love the chill out room it's such a good idea. The only bad thing I have to say is that although the checkout time is 12pm the cleaners always came in before then. One morning a girl came in at 10.30 and started stripping beds and then opened the covers on the windows even though me and 2 other people were still trying to sleep! However all in all a great hostel.

The recreation are is perfect. It is easy to socialized with the other guest. The only disadvantage of this hostel, it ia bit far away from old town.

+ nice bar, cute dorm (pink and purple walls, sheets), good location, good price - last evening and morning no toilet paper on our floor, no bed lights in dorm

Expensive if you stay in a singleroom compared to other hostels we have been at.

+ nice hostel, + good atmosphere + very nice bar girl serving breakfast - the bunk beds are terrible, very loud and crappy seem to be falling apart and i was lying in a hole - couldnt open the window, and when 8 people sleep in one room the oxigen is gone really fast, and there was lots of condensed water on the wondows, felt awful in the morning -> so very nice atmosphere, but very poor sleeping quality

We really enjoyed the hostel. It has a lot of facilities in order not to get bored. Also, the staff helps you if you ask them whatever question about Edinburgh. Highly recommended.

Very cheery and colorful, but chaotic. Enormous and full of young people drinking, talking, studying. Lots of big groups of friends, which is fun to be around but doesn't really garner a sense of community like smaller hostels do. Great for a gang of friends looking to crash in the same place and do their own thing, similar to the vibe of a university dorm. Location is wonderful: right off of one of the main streets, and nearly across from the castle and a short walk to the Royal Mile.

There should be an improvement regarding the cleanliness of toilets. Everything else was very good.
