Absolutely perfect location right on the beach and reasonably priced. The room with the large balcony is great and the view fantastic. The downside (and it's a big one) to this hotel is the bar next door plays music until 2:30/3am almost every night and you literally feel that your bed is in the bar, it's so loud there's no chance of sleeping. This really can ruin the experience of staying at this hotel if your someone who values sleep and doesn't want to join the party.

The biggest disappointment of my 3 months in South America so far. It's never a good sign when there's a sign in the lobby that says you have to pay for what you booked, regardless of when you leave. My room with 2 fans was consistently 10F hotter than outside. Breakfast was fruit-only 1st day and eggs-only the 2nd. No idea how it's "the best" on the island. Oh, and no free beach towel I went across the road, paid 25% less for a room with a private bathroom, AC, AND an awesome breakfast.

Andrea is very efficient and was so much help. We really loved the room and the beach. The breakfast cook made the best scrambled eggs ever.

This can be a lovely place to stay, with some major caveats. Around 9 pm, the bar next store started to BLAST music. It was so loud that one could barely hear the sea. So we had to close our door and we still found it hard to fall asleep with the music coming through the door. With the door shut, we were left in a hot room with only a fan to try to keep us cool. It was awful. In sum, I strongly suggest you try another hotel unless the bar closes.

Room was HOT, as are all but the two rooms facing the ocean. No bargain there. Gentelman working the desk was much more interested in his computer than helping guests. Location is FANTASTIC--glorious body surfing beach right in front of the hotel. Alas, bars on both sides of the hotel, one open from 8--12 and VERY LOUD. No public use of the beautiful kitchen. Fabulous patio with hammocks right in front of the ocean. Breakfast on patio overlooking the ocean, a very good breakfast at that

Great location, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, makes it easy to book tours. Only issue is not all the rooms have ac! So make sure you ask, it gets so hot. Also hostel is beside two bars so it might get loud at night.

The place is fantastic, with a beautiful view by the sea. You can lie on hammocks and watch the sea and the sea iguanas all around (they are cute and peaceful. Do not be afraid of them). The breakfast is excellent and there is a great bar One advice: if you are very sensitive to hot weather, do not book a room in the opposite side of the sea with no air-conditioning. We did it and we could not sleep, because it was so hot and with no wind. Fortunately we had no problem on changing it later on.

Good: Perfect location on the beach The twin room with a shared bathroom is very good value for the area Staff are lovely and really helpful in explaining the area Breakfast is great Bad: Very quiet - only 2 other people staying there The main area is locked from 9pm so it's even quieter Access to bathroom from the twin room after 9pm is a long way in the dark! Very hot room
