This would be an almost perfect hostel with the exception of their only being two bathrooms for the hostels of which get locked at nighttime. If you wake up at night expect to pee on the beach, otherwise great atmosphere and great cook( included breakfast)
Communal bathroom was absolutely disgusting. I didn't even shower, I waited to leave to another hostel to shower. Sand was everywhere, and sometimes the motion lights would either not go on or would turn off while you are still in the hallway.
This was the best hostel we stayed in during our week-long trip to Santa Cruz and Isabela. Very chill vibe with all necessary amenities (and a GREAT breakfast). Felipe is the best host and somehow manages to cater to every visitor's needs. Staff does a great job keeping the hostel clean and pleasant (despite all the sand from the beach which is only feet away). Speaking of the beach...it's right outside the window - best location ever. If you go to Isabela, stay here, you won't regret it.

Highly overpriced for very very basic facilities. Only good thing is location of sea facing rooms. Other rooms which are not sea facing are very very congested and warm. No A/C, No TV. Fan rotates as if it is end of the world. Room description on site is incorrect. Right next to this hostel there are very good hotels which offer A/C, TV, bigger are better rooms at half of the price. Don't fall in the trap, choose rest of the hotels.
Well run. Emilee was very helpful. Nice breakfasts.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at (and I've stayed at a LOT). The rooms aren't super special unless you get the ocean balcony view, but the shared facilities (great common room, hammock porch, vball court, beach bar), service and convenience of tours/surfing, and the people who hang out here, tourists and locals alike, make it the best place to stay in Isabela. Emilie, the manager, is SO nice and helpful and I had an absolutely awesome surf instructor, David!
This place is amazing and the staff is terrific. It's a wonderful location, great bar, nice breakfast, wonderful tours, and everything is very clean and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and stay here when visiting Isabela Island.
