Watch out for the hot box aka room number 4. Had to switch out of there because of the heat and how close it is to the blaring music of the bar. Place is great and interesting, iguanas are cool, awesome location with hammocks galore, didnt like how they charged for extra water and toast though

We had reserved on 4 Apr for 8 to 12 May 13 and got ro 2, the smallest of the house where they had used insect poison the day before. The smell was unbearable, we could not close the window or the door all night (ground floor, facing the street) - despite of the draft we woke up with a headache. For the substitute ro we had to pay 25$ more and the staff acted very surprised when we were not willing to return to the toxic little ro, but prefered to change the hostel. Very disappointing experience

Best location to stay on Isabela. Good atmosphere, although everything gets a bit salty after a while...

Unbelievable location with great service. Has a unique charm and comfort. Staff helped with any questions or needs. Would recommend this location to anyone.

We had an amazing stay at Caleta Iguana ! The hostel is right on the beach ! The staff is so nice (Thanks Emilie for everything !!) and the happy hour at the beach bar is the place to be every night !!

Best hostel in the Island!! Awesome atmosphere, great staff, good tours offers and best bar. No doubt, you gotta stay there, won't regret it!

overall great stay. Manager Emile lots of help with booking tours, return trip to Santa Cruz etc. Bike rentals on site handy. Great beach setting and evening sunset happy hour. Room 7 needs a fan, room 6 was great, room 5 triple fine. Accommodated our last minute bookings. Thanks!

The location is perfect, on the beach and on the edge of town. 30 iguanas chilling on the beach in front of the hostel too! staff were friendly and nice and the included breakfast was good too. Day tours can be booked through the hostel as well. Definitely recommend the ´´bay tour´´ for $30, saw lots of giant turtles while snorkelling and an island with a crazy amount of iguanas and seals and other things also. Volcano hostel across the road is cheaper and nice as well if caleta is full
