It's a very nice place to stay especially for the people who are looking for a quiet and peacefull place. No drinking or smoking people! Dora, the manager, is a wonderfull person, very helpfull and very kind. The garden is very nice and Dora and her friend are making a very good breakfast every morning. The hostal is very simple and clean with a very good situation, just next the central bus station, shops and restaurants. If you are not looking for a fancy or a party hostel, you will enjoy it.

It's a very basic room, in a nice garden. I stayed in the dorm. It's nice, all made out of wood. The toilet is outside, which is a little uncomfortable during heavy rains. breakfast is in the garden. It can get noisy because all the busses pass through the street, but for the rest it's a nice place.
Ive been travelling for 5 month from South America to central- and this is the first time I've been told I'm not allowed to leave my bag at the hostel or use the wifi after checkout!! The rooms were full of bugs (like an old barn that somebody put a bed in) Dora the hostel owner was nice at first and breakfast was nice, but this hostel defiantly not worth the amount of money.. Go to weary travel- it is not the best but you have transportation to the beach which saves about 140 pesos for a day
We stayed in a private room here. It was more of a screened in hut. For tulum, the price wasn't bad. Her breakfasts were small. One day we had a roll with jam, juice and a cup of coffee. Kitchen and bathroom weren't bad. The only real problem was the sheer number of mosquitoes. Even though we stayed away most of the day, used mosquito coils and slept with a mosquito net at night we were absolutely covered in bites. There were noticeably more than in the rest of tulum. Dora was very nice.
As ¨rustic¨ as the other reviews indicate, but if you go in expecting that, you will have a wonderful, relaxing stay. Dora is friendly, helpful, and the variety of breakfast (day to day) is a wonderful touch. A quiet seclusion, but only a minute from the main street, and from renting a bike that can get you to the beach, the swimming caves, the ruins, the beach, the beach... Most of the cats will keep to themselves, and not seek pats, but their presence definitely adds to the charm!
