I have mixed feelings after staying there. I love my host. She made me feel very much at home. The room was medium sized with a double bed, fan, wardrobe, desk and window (no view though). Food was the best part. I really enjoyed the time I spent with my host family. Because none of the family members spoke English, we had to communication though the manager by phone, which was uncomfortable because he asked too many personal questions. I also felt like being watched. Location was also far.

We were received by a very friendly family who were super willing to help. Then the owner/ass.manager came over and he was TERRIBLE. We were there around 7pm even though we indicated 9pm and he said he was waiting for us the whole day and now was out for dinner. He didn't care about the people and was very unpolite. We would love for those lovely families to get better support. Now it's an overpriced option were we left after 1 night. We moved to another family guesthouse the next morning.

Mr Hoa was very very helpful, he even came to say farewell at the bus stop. He was very accomodating and helpful. Cam Chau homestay is a great opportunity to meet local people and get an inside perspective of a Vietnamese family home. We found our homestay rather far from the centre of Hoi An, and bicycles are available to ride on, cheap hire. Thank you Mr Hoa for your hospitality.

Very friendly family who made us feel welcome. However we were invited for dinner one evening with the family which was great but when we got our bill we realised this was an extra cost and a very pricey one too!

Absolutely wonderful management, and great rooms/houses to stay in. Very hands on. Some of the homeowners don\'t speak English, but that\'s to be expected.

A wonderful family to stay with. The husband Nguyen even took me on his motor bike to the other end of town, where I needed to go in a hurry. He also got me a new battery for my wristwatch and opened a huge coconut for me. The family also made 2 short long distance calls for me and (for a reasonable price) I shared a superb dinner with the family every day.

My stay at Cam Chau Homestay was excellent. The room was clean and spacious, and the family was affable and pleasant to be around. I would recommend this homestay for people who will be in Hoi An for at least a few days.

This is not a hotel, its a homestay so difficult to review in the same way. We stayed with Vung's family. They were extremely hospitable and made a lovely breakfast every morning for us. We were invited to join them twice for dinner too. The house is large and clean and the room prefectly adequate in size with an ensuite bathroom. They have internet available on their home computer but no wifi. The house, room and bathroom were all spotlessly clean. Note that they have a dog.20min walk into town

All in all we really enjoyed the homestay. Our hostess couldnt speak any English so that was a slight barrier. The man who runs the homestay has good english though so we managed to get by. The breakfast was very filling and the hostess couldn't do enough for us. Worth doing a homestay as very interesting. The children were lovely as well and were trying to talk to us which was nice.

A very authentic homestay experience! Clean, rustic and with everything you could need. But this isn't for Facebook and instagram junkies, though personally being disconnected is rather relaxing to me.

excellent experience!!! This is a interesting homestay...there is one guy who can speak good english and contact 12 families, every family has one room for tourists, so maybe you will be transfer to another address, but don't worry, they are close and they will pick you up....you will stay at really local people's home and they may speak only little english but they are very nice and simplicity people.

Stayed 2 nights. The night before we were given a scrappy piece of paper with breakfast items written in english and asked what we wanted. We were given something different at breakfast. Felt we were an intrusion in their home. Room not cleaned after first night. Hassle of paying the bill
