The linen was covered in cat and human hair - anyone with cat allergy cannot stay here comfortably, sorry.

nice small-ish hostel. cant really comment on price as i stayed over new year. but it was one of the cheaper options even then. small blocks of rooms with private bathrooms. free breakfast and free wifi too, which is always great. one of the better hostels ive stayed in

Hostel is a few blocks from the metro station - there was a mix up on our reservation but it was quickly resolved and we were given a smaller room which wasn't really an issue. TV in the room didn't work and most of the closet space was taken by the person who was already staying there, so there wasn't a lot of space for our stuff. Breakfast was OK and it was quiet at night. Wi-fi was extremely bad - almost never worked - and could barely get any signal in the bedroom.

Staff was nice. It's very quiet and there's lovely in the neighborhood. It's fun to make breakfast and have breakfast with other guests. There's free milk in the refrigerator! I miss that cute cat.

Booked to stay one night and then stayed for a week. A lot of those staying have been here long term so this may not suit everyone. People are friendly, staff helpful and you can get a good night's sleep if you're needing it which can't be said of a lot of places. Close to the train station and local shops, bars and cafes which is good, bathrooms are unisex but no need to queue at any point.

Stayed at this hostel from the 3rd until the 11th October. If you are looking to put down some roots and work in Sydney this is a great starting place. Clean, quiet, and you can get a good night's sleep here. Lots of long term residents which are all in the same boat. Still can have a party at weekends, but people understand that you may be working in the week. Equally good if you're tired, and just want to chill for a few days with a nice hot shower. Stay clear if it's a party hostel you want!

Lovely hostel :) a great sense of space, quite peaceful, a good place to relax. It's very clean, has large bathrooms, friendly staff, nice common areas and free internet. The location is not really central, but there's a train station nearby and it's within convenient walking distance from Newtown, which is a cool part of the city :) Stayed 4 nights, it was a very pleasant experience!

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful the room was great and the location was perfect, my only complaint is that even though the hostel did not seem full the shower was still cold at 10 am?? Everything else, spot on.
