One of the two showers didn't work, but Pietro was great! Definitely a quaint spot.

I wouldn't recommend it at all. We stayed there 5 nights. The first night we paid 18e each for a 3 bed with private bath. One bed was so awful that we had to turn the mattress the other way around to ease the pain from the springs that it had. The other 4 nights the bed was awful too and I couln't sleep for 8 hours continuously once. The hostel is being cleaned every morning but if you leave the room after 12, then no cleaning for you. Breakfast not included. No soundproofing at all. 3/10

I received an email about two weeks before my stay advising me that I would be staying in the Hotel Regina instead. I think this hostel and the Hotel Regina are run by sisters who transfer guests between the two. It turned out very well, and the Hotel Regina was excellent. Highly recommended.

We received an email a week before our arrival that the host wasn't home so they sent us to a hotel near the Quattro Canti. The place was really ugly though the area was quite nice (even better than the original). It didn't seem clean, the bed was awful and the shared bathrooms were functional but uncomfortable. The staff was kind. We didn't like being sent to other place than where we booked for.

If you want to have a place to sleep, this is perfect. The hostel is pretty much some old man\'s house with 4 rooms to sleep in. The beds suck and you cannot make much noise.

The place is clean and safety, located close to the sea and main tourist attractions. The atmosphere is very friendly and staff very helpful and caring. It's rather quiet, but earplugs during weekend were usufull. We would stay there again with pleasure!

Booked a double room, asked for separate beds by mail and were given a big 4-bed-room with a small balcony! No heating, but in budget places in Southern Europe you cannot expect it. Rooms, kitchen (open all day) and bathrooms are average but the basics are all there. Luckily visitors did not disturb each other with breakfast and showers, with tight schedules this could become difficult, though. Street entertainment on weekends in the neighborhood. Good value for money!
