Dating back to the 19th century the Campagne Saint Jean de Matha is a stunning Provencal house set is a picturesque 2.5 hectares of land. Our extensive grounds mean guests can enjoy the feeling of being in the heart of the countryside while still being only 15 minutes from downtown Marseille.
Here at Campagne Saint Jean de Matha we are the ideal choice for those looking to explore the area and are ideally close to Aix en Provence as well as Cassis. Marseille's old port area is just 20 minutes from the B&B. For those coming to the area for an activity break we are next door to a golf club and tennis courts.
The building here at Campagne Saint Jean de Matha is a traditional Provencal building, meaning guests can enjoy an authentic taste of Provence right here in their B&B. We invite all guests to look through the pictures to get an idea of the beautiful house, garden and rooms.

We took a risk to book this B&B and it turns out that we are the first group of clients they had. It was an amazing experience, beautiful and clean room, comfortable beds, well functional facilities, nice and spacious garden with three friendly dogs and most importantly delicious French breakfast with loads of croissants, tea and pain au chocolate. Owners are super nice, but they have a quite minimum amount of English. Location is kind of out of the way, but the total quality outweighs location.
