I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the warm welcoming feeling you get when you spend time on site. The restaurant and market are great and practical for travellers like me. And the staff were kind and willing to help when needed. The layout of the camp site was well done, and I really liked the wooden cabins, I thought they were cute and cozy. I do however think that the use of internet should be free though. That helps us travellers save a few extra euros!
Great campsite, clean with good facilities and helpful staff. On-site restaurant has reasonable prices but the on-site shop is quite expensive. However, the overall rates for staying there were very good considering it's right next to Venice. If you don't mind a 30 minute bus ride in to Venice this is an ideal place to stay.
Was a great place to stay for what we were looking for. About 25 mins on the bus (which does eventually get there-don't panic when it doesn't take the turn to the camp because it comes around the long way) from Venice. The campground is nice and spacious, there is a market, restaurant and camp kitchen so you have options. Our room was clean and nice, although very hot. Would stay here again.
Our place was very dirty, showers was the first time cold and the toilet was wet all over....
Good place if you want somewhere inexpensive and out of the city. Bus ride to Venice runs every half hour from 445am - midnight and takes about 25-30 mins. I stayed in a 2 bed mixed cabin type accomodation and it was really warm and had dead bugs on the wall and ceiling, but overall it was just a place to sleep so not bad
The only complaint that I have is that we were awoken every morning by the cleaning staff at 8 am. Not too early, but we were on vacation! They used the table right outside our cabin, and their materials hit the wall that was right up against my bed. They were very loud and did not seem to make any attempt to work quietly. Also, we could not use our table for breakfast because they used it for sheets every morning from about 8-11 am.
A really great place to stay in Venice. It is not far from main city - just 20-25 min by bus and you'll be on a main bus station. The air is very fresh and dry in comparison to Venice islands. Everything is very clean. Place is quiet and cozy, I would like to stay more! A huge benefit is a kitchen with all necessary stuff in.
Great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Thanks so much!
Nice and clean camp, helpful staff, we stayed in bungalows, great value for money and they were clean =) Camp is located little bit far from everything but no problem if you have a car. Bus to Venice historic centre took around 30 min but was air-conditioned =)
Its far from venice, But you can take the bus and in 30 minutes you are there! Its realy expensive for what they give. You have to pay for everything, wi fi and Air conditioner are not inclusive.
Right. It's a camping. You get what you pay for, and considering it's Venice (which is a super exprensive town, damn!) it's really quite the catch. It's a little far away from the island Venice, but a buss departs every now and then from right outside the camping. It takes about half an hour, so it's okay. Pretty nice atmospher.
I really like to stay here... Although its a camping site, but its better than lots of hostel... Especially if you are a person who loves nature! Althought its a bit far, easily reach by bus, please tell the driver to stop at CS or u will miss the stop. Toilets is very clean which u dont expect to see in a campsite, got a small open kitchen and a mini market... If I come to venice again, I will definitely stay few days here....
first time lived in a camping site. pros: cheap, lots of 20 years something to chat with. the bathroom is excellent. cons: too many mosquitoes. I can't even sleep.
It is good pleasure pleace for short economic staying.

Glad I stayed here :) Saved heaps staying here instead of in town, and after a long day it was so nice to sit amongst the trees and enjoy the summer sun. Meet some other nice travellers
You truly get what you pay for! I had a nice stay here. You get all the facilities you need, for the most part. The wifi cost money and only worked occasionally which was a bummer. There are a ridiculous amount of mosquitoes, but that has nothing to do with the campground staff performance of course. Prepare yourself with good big spray and be ready to face them before arriving. I enjoyed the cozy, family atmosphere.
It was my first time in a camping but I will definitely recommend this place. It is very easy to arrive to Venice. Just 20 minutes by bus. The bus station is just 1 minute from the camping and you will arrive to "Piazza di Roma" for 1.30 euro. The camping is very clean and the staff very nice and they will help you if you have questions. They have also a small supermarket with affordable prices. Something to realize: Bring some repellent for the mosquitos.
Nice place, easy to get to, bus from Venice station is about 30 minutes and cheap. Cafe paninis are good for breakfast. Get an en suite, the huts without bathrooms are rather small and hot. Good for a short stay but I wouldn't recommend it for longer
