This seemed like it could be a very enjoyable place however my stay wasnt very good. The resteraunt, bar and market were very overpriced and the staff was friendly but not very helpful. Also the pool was closed. The one good thing was the scenery, it was beautiful.

Camping Village Il Poggetto's staff was incredibly accomodating! They went out of thier way to help us with any questions and to make us feel at home. the grounds are located in the middle of beautiful hills making it the perfect getaway. It was only a bus ride away from Florence.

it is 50 minutes away from Florence, so if you want to explore the city, you should pick a hostel within Florence. that being said, the scenery surrounding the campsite was absolutely breathtaking. hiking was really nice as well.

I liked the location of the hostel and the price for the rooms were reasonable. But I did not like how expensive food was at the camp site. The market food was priced twice as much as it should have been. There was no warning that just to sit at the restaurant would cost a fee.

the camping is very nice, situated in the middle of Tuscany country. It's a good place for families, for groups of friends but also for young couples. And the staff is very kind and really helpful.

Overlooking the beautiful countryside, this site is perfect for those who love getting away from the big city. It's ridiculously easy to get to Florence by bus (around 30min). It was very cold at night but the room had a heater, the showers could get very hot, but you only get one blanket and a very flat pillow to sleep so you might be "roughing it" a little. The bar makes a very cheap and very good cappuccino.

It's really hard to reach them by train. There's no buses from train station and about 7 km by walking. It looks really like tracking cause its in mountains. Only one thing - nature. There is really beautiful around. So, that's not Florense and even close. A little bit weard staff friendly but unusefull.
