I've stayed at this hostel multiple times, and the staff have excellent English skills, and are more than willing to work with you to create a great experience for your travels and tourism ideals!! VERY CONVENIENT location, and famously now right at Tahrir Sq.!! Easy access to the Cairo Museum, to taxis, to the metro, and all other tourism sites in Cairo! While obviously not sparkling like the overly expensive hotels, the tourist packages and the prices they offer are EXCELLENT!!

The Canadian Hostel is in short probably the warmest, friendliest and relaxed hostel in Cairo. The hostel is just a two minute walk off Tahir Square (right hand side of the street to the right of KFC)and just a similary short walk from the must visit Egyptian museum. Also from the metro station outside you can easily and very cheaply travel to Giza, the Coptic/older parts of Cairo and pretty much anywhere for just 2LE (egypt pounds).Excellent english speaking staff who really went all out for us

The hostel was great from the very start, I arrived at 7am and they allowed me to check into my room. I was surprised because most places make you wait. I enjoyed the free breakfast, wifi, and my own free dorm room : ). The hostel is located downtown steps away from tahrir square. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. They will ensure you have a great time. This was my second time staying at this hostel so i received a 10% discount and a free airport transfer. Stay here!!

thank's for a great stay in canadian hostel! it's RIGHT at tahrir sq. the best thing> you can return to the hostel. whenever you want at night. perfect for people who like to go out. the private breakfast w coffee or tea is also very nice.
