I've been told about this hostel from another person and it is a great choice. The location is perfect, just a five min walk from the Cairo Museum. I hired tours from them to Sahara Desert, Luxor and Aswan and everthing was awesome. Thanks Jimmy for all your dedication. The Canadian Hostel is a very clean and affordable place to stay. And the staff is very honest and respectable. They helped with all my travel needs. Jimmy Thanks so much for being so helpful! Great, excellent hostel!! The manager is really nice, so is all the staff! It\'s clean, has a great location and lots of fun in the common room!! They have their own tourcompany which is great!! I've been many times in this hostel!! GREAT hostel!! The staff is soo friendly, always ready to help you out... Don't forget to ask for Yosri, he can help you out with tours around Egypt!! You won't be disappointed!!!!! The hostel is very clean (they clean all the commun areas multiple times a day), location is SUPER and really good atmosphere!!! If you need something, just ask anyone of the staff and they will do everything to help you out!!! This is a hostel that cares about their guests!!!I've been many times in this hostel!! The staff are helpful and did me quite a good itinerary. Weren\'t pushy with tours but had them. Flexible if you decided to miss out some nights. My transfer didn\'t show at the airport but they refunded me for the taxi straight away with no fuss. The hostel itself is clean, but basic, as you would expect for a well-kept place for the price.
As expected, the hostel offered us a number of tours of the area, as well as the rest of Egypt. We opted to take one of the tours of Saqqara, The Great Pyramids of Giza, and Memphis, which was good. Even though we declined the offered tour of Upper Egypt, the hostel staff was kind enough to call a hotel we wanted to stay at in Luxor and make a reservation for us.The hostel itself is clean, but basic, as you would expect for a well-kept place for the price.
