It was a very decent hostel. Staff were nice, good common areas. Could have maybe used more showers and a better kitchen

- rooms were messed up in the beginning - kind of sketchy lady in our room. I know that's vague but she seemed homeless

Internet was really bad and an alarm went off at 4am and it took half an hour for staff to turn it off

The room was a bit cold, maybe the heat system was not working very well... besides that, excellent!

Excellent value for money. The location is at the heart of downtown and close to everything - restaurants, groceries, attractions, subways, streetcars, movie theater! Hostel management is very good. The room where I stayed was very clean; so was the washroom and common spaces. Free breakfast provided. Staffs were very friendly. Kitchen, laundry, locker, and payphone facilities are very good. I would definitely stay here if I visit Toronto again! Just love the experience!

Canadiana Backpackers in was a great hostel. It was a great price for a great place. The location is right in the center of the city and it was easy to get to anywhere quickly. I met a lot of people at the hostel in the hang out area in the lobby. The staff was helpful and friendly. They had events going on for the weekend (it was new years eve) and we really enjoyed them. I would definitely recommend this place for any traveller.

Great location, super friendly staff. We easily walked all over the city from the hostel. We'll definitely book Canadiana every time we're in Toronto!

Really a good hostel, expecially liked the bathrooms that guarantee a great deal of privacy. Guests were super cool you can sleep early and quietly and also party all night, just as you like. Unfortunately the provided sheets weren't completely clean and full of hair. Towels were not included.

I would definitely recommend this hostel! Great character, easy to get walk or get public transport, and plenty of organised events if you are planning a long stay. You have to love the discount Niagara Falls trip they off! Great! Also fee pancake breakfast if you can eat gluten (for all of you lucky ppl who can eat wheat) and free tea all day!

A really nice and clean hostel. Lots of bars and restaurant nearby. I booked a 10 bed female room, but in reality, they dont have this kind of room. So we were placed in a 6 bed mixed. My female friend is really unhappy with having to sleep with men in the same. It is ok for me but it will be better if the hotel can state it in advance. Overall a nice place. About 20 minutes walk from the toronto couch terminal. We joined the tour to the waterfall, CAD55 each.

The double room was pretty basic but clean and a good deal for the price we paid for it. On Saturday it was a little loud when party people arrived back to the hostel, the walls are not the thickest. The breakfast could have been more varied than just pancakes - they were nice but on the fourth morning it just felt a little repetitive. And the coffee was frankly rather bad. The staff was helpful and assisted us whenever needed. Location is really good. All in all, a good stay!

Hoovering at 9am was not great on a Saturday morning when trying to sleep in :( Could also do with more bathrooms/showers - there was quite a queue to get in in the morning!

What hostel only provides directions from the airport that cost $23.95??? We're BUDGET travelers Canadiana. I was able to get there in about 1hr for $2.50... This needs to be fixed. Besides that it is a solid hostel. Good location. Very social but not ultra fun hostel, if that makes sense. Lots of people around but not that partyish/funish. Hostel tried to kick people out of the common room at 11:30pm, which was annoying, with a drunk staff member screaming at everyone.
