Great place to stay - there's always some entertainment planned and the people are really friendly. Really enjoyable experience.

Hip place in downtown within easy walking distance to public transportation. They offer different kinds of activities each day and even contain a small cinema. The common areas were always crowded which created a lively atmosphere but forced people to remain in their rooms if they wanted to chill out. The noise of the people in the common areas though was not perceivable in the room.

Nice place, very clean, really friendly staff. Easy to meet people if you want to. Location wise it's perfect for bars and just about anything you'd want to do in Toronto.

I enjoyed my stay at the Canadiana so much. There are a lot of long stay people there who are very friendly and will make you feel like part of the community instantly. Most people staying there are working holiday people rather than travelers so I wouldn't describe it as a party hostel but there was a group going out to the local bars every night. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and most are good friends with a lot of the guests as well. Great location as well.

Nice atmosphere, especially considering the weather was pretty rubbish and many guests were bound to staying indoors. Warm & comfortable with a good kitchen and laundry.

The first day we arrived was at 7am we hesitated thinking that reception wouldnt be open as we entered a irish girl greeted us and gave us a grand tour and letting us store our bags until check in, she even offered tea and coffee. Was very helpful considering we were only in Toronto for one night. Was a great experience.

Very clean and staff was very helpful. Great location. Long term parking across the street at extra expense but worth it.

Nice Hostel. The numer of bathrooms is a bit small, but I never had to wait very long. Staff is trally friendly. Wifi works very good in rooms. There are pancakes for breakfast or you can purchase cereal or bagels. Only a few minutes to walk to King Street, about 10 Minutes to the CN Tower. Well connected to public transportation. I would stay again

Great hostel! Close to everything fun in Toronto, not to mention all the great things to do at the hostel (games, movie room, daily activities, etc). The rooms are great, very quiet, can be loud though during party time/weekends.

s lovely place, serious business, the only thing I dislike are breakfast; poor and scarce compare with other Hostels for instance in Germany... But a I recommend Canadiana 100%....

There was a bit of a confusion regarding the location of a rooms. A staff gave us the impression that our room was in a different building. We walked a bit and then came back. Just a bit of misunderstanding. Not a big deal.

Great central location you can walk to almost anywhere in Toronto from here...staff were really helpful prior to my arrival and helped me organise a trip to Niagara the morning after I arrived. All in all this hostel isn't super clean or modern but for the price and location is worth it! Also, I never tasted the pancakes in the mornings however, they didn't look to appetizing!!

Fantastic staff and ethos within the hotel. Luggage storage for all the winter sports fans is fantastic. Doors open directly from the street to the common room, which is a bit precarious, and are only locked at night. Apart from that, and the fact people may steal your food or booze out of the fridge, this hostel is awesome. Clean, friendly, professional, secure and homely. Free cups of tea?! Any Brit can feel welcome here in seconds.
