Overall a nice place, although no contact was made to myself before arrival. Fortunately other guests were entering when I arrived so I could come in and realise I needed to call for someone to bring me my key. The room itself was quite nice and the location was lovely. I would thoroughly recommend a lock be put on the downstairs bathroom door as well as some kind of curtain so that people can't see through to window on the door. It felt incredibly uncomfortable!
Fleur the host is wonderfully friendly and multi- lingual. This is a home rather than a hostel - the guest sit round a breakfast table together!. We had an attic room which has precarious stirs up to, the toilet is cramped but despite that it was great. Tea making facilities in the room and access to the kitchen any time! - Great place I would happily go again!
Great location and friendly owner. Breakfast had a lot to be desired and there were no pillowcases on the pillows which was not very nice... Don't stay here if you have a fear of heights!!!!
The house is lovely. Walking distance to the city centre, close to restaurants, cafes, etc. Fleur & Luke are excellent hosts who were able to help out with any questions we had. Our room was very clean and comfortable. And the breakfast is very good! We would stay again.
great place, on a quiet canal road near a triplet of waterside restaurants
location nice in the centre, but the ground floor room is not for light sleepers
Good location within walking distance to everything. Breakfast is great.
