Arrival was a bit chaotic: check-in done by a guest as the owner was away and our room had not been cleaned when we took it. Was all fixed in the afternoon though. We were in room 1 which is like a small studio, with very nice character. Breakfast is good and copious. Location is great within 10min walk of the main attractions of the city center.

Lovely hostess, willing to go out of her way to give advice on what is good to see and do in Bruges. Nice group of other guests. Fabulous proximity to centre of Bruges.

Will have fond memories of Brugge for a very long time and the accommodation certainly has a place in that! The owner, Fleur (sorry if mis spelt!) was very welcoming and a big help. She provided us with a map of the city and marked all the sites, parks, markets and places to eat which helped greatly as we were there for just one night! The accommodation itself is on a Canal and within 10 minutes walk of the centre. It is very clean, soft towels, a nice shower and a large comfortable double bed!!

Very inexpensive, safe area, clean room with half a roll of toilet paper for two people for three days. The live-in, Audrey, was unhelpful, with a "Do not Disturb" note on her door. Fleur and Luke live at the hotel and they were the highlight, extremely nice and welcoming. Very steep stairs, definitely not ideal for elderly or handicapped, but, this is noted in their website already.

I loved staying at Canal B&B - the room was great and Fleur was a terrific host. The location is great, just a short walk to the centre and close enough that I could take my shopping home at regular intervals. Fleur told me all the great places to go, and if you are there, go on your first day to the bakery, butcher and fruit shop/deli that Fleur points out on the map - I waited until the last day and soooo wanted more goodies from there. I have already recommended it to others.

We had a great stay at the Canal house! Stayed in 2 different rooms and enjoyed each of them! Breakfast was good and Audrey was really nice and very helpful! Location was close to the main town and loved having the canal right outside. We took a taxi to the place and only took 10 mins. Very cute place overall!

Bruges is quite a small town and the B&B is very well situated and within short walking distance to everything. Fleur was very lovely and accommodating. Very helpful regarding tips for Bruges and transportation. Would definitely stay there again!

Great B&B hostel. The owners, Fleur and Luke, are very nice people. They were very helpful and welcoming to us. Also I'd like to add that they don't live in the hostel anymore. So if there are no other guests, you just have the hostel for yourselves. The rooms are clean and friendly. However, if you have a problem climbing steep stairs, you should ask for the room downstairs. Great location, close to the city center.

Very perfect B and B. Very nice B&B girl - Audrey - very helpful and interesting to talk to. Location is perfect too. One very small negativity - too little place for legs then sitting on the toilet :).

We had a really nice 2-nights-stay in Brugge. When we arrived at Canal House B&B we were picked up and brought to the other hotel of the family - Gulden Vlies, because there were some unforseen complications. We really loved the little houses just next to the canal at Canal House and so we were first dissappointed not to stay there. But the other hotel was also really nice, the staff is really friendly, the rooms nice and the breakfast delicious!

Fleur was a lovely host. She welcomed us to her bnb and provided delicious breakfast and all sorts of advice on Bruges. The room had a spectacular view of Bruges and was clean and cozy. There are lots of stairs so that should be kept in mind, though for us it wasn't a problem. Couldn't have asked for a more Perfect location. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it!

We were made to feel extremely welcome. The owners stayed up late to check us in as we arrived late at night. We were also driven to their other hotel for a lovely breakfast each morning and were told things to do in Bruges which was extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.
