Canary was nice. The nearby bus station has moved which ruins one of the biggest lures to this location. You can walk to the amphitheater or citadel from the hostel in 20 minutes (although the citadel would be uphill, when you could take a 1-2 JD taxi). The hostel is on a one-way street, so your taxi might drop you off 30 metres away. There are big windows and fans, but no AC in the room, but the building has AC.

very bad room,. no air conditioning, 2 fans in room 1 broken and 1 working. television promised but no antenna connected. staff pleasent and helpful. bathroom and shower well below standard.

Good place for the price. A bit hard to find, but VERY helpful staff who knows Amman well. In a safe neighborhood. Decent breakfast included in price of hotel.
