Great place. A bit out of town but still on walking distance. Some great beaches nearby. Very helpfull and friendly staff. We had a nice and relaxing time here.

It is one of the best places to stay in Lagos! Definitely recommend it to everyone!

Very nice and quite place. Offered nice room for the good price. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Although we had a kitchen, the pan was busted, but it is not important if you are going out on dinner.

This hostel is fantastic! Well it is more of a motel - there is a kitchenette in the rooms. The rooms are immaculate and ours had recently been rennovated. The shower is awesome and the rooms are serviced with fresh towels and cleaned daily. There are two pools and the gardens are beautiful! This is the perfect place to stay if you want some R&R. It is about a 20min walk to town but the access to the beach and an awesome place to stay make it more than worth the walk. The staff are very helpful!

We had a great experience! Amazing facilities, great location close to the grottos and good beaches. The kitchens are great and there are markets within walking distance. The bathrooms are also great with great water pressure! The owner is friendly and helpful. By far one of the best weekends i've spent in Europe and EXTREMELY affordable. I highly recommend Canavial!

The only disadvantage to this hostel is that it is located about a 15 minute walk from the town center. This is not a huge downside though as taxis are very cheap and there is also a supermarket and few restaurants located closer. The hostel is also very close to a beach. All in all, a great experience and I would recommend it.
