Great hostel right in the middle of Canberra. Friendly staff, clean facilities, large kitchen with many workstations, communal areas modern and tidy, would definatley stay again!

Has a SPA, awesome rooftop terrace with BBQ and is really nice and clean! I enjoyed it! Really nice place! But be aware that it's not the place to go if you're a hardcore party kind of person.

Clean, spacious and pleasant, with plenty of showers and secure lockers. Only negative: my bunk squeaked every time I turned over, annoying the girl below me.

Having groups of school children running around the hotel is annoying for other guests, especially when it's at 7am! I didn't appreciate that I was given a room (122) opening right onto the level 1 common area where all the children congregated.

Stayed in a 10 bed dorm film which was really good. Looker for every person, big room and a Balcony. Bathroom was dirty and toiletpaper was allways out. Kitchen was not what we expected. Just 3knives for 4 cooking stations and only dameged pans and also not enough! Kitchen was also dirty the only good thing was the room!

Overall, good hostel. The staff were helpful and friendly and the kitchen was more than adequate. Our 10 bed dorm was spacious and bright. However, the showers could have been cleaner (we went to level 2 to shower as they were nicer) and the common areas could do with a clean. Also, wifi should be free but this is the same with all YHA hostels. We'd stay there again!

All good, aside from my sheets being taken off a night early with personal belongings wrapped up in amongst them ... enough nagging and searching in the laundry turned them up the next day, though. Pretty sure a cleaner got some grief over that. Other staff were helpful.

The hostel has always has school camps staying through the week. Staff do the bare minimum but are usually friendly, most staff don't know the city very well so can't tell you much about buses, resturants, ect.

Ok hostel well located, really huge. What we really dislike is the fact that we had to pay for every service except the dorm bed: expensive lockers, expensive Internet, no towel provided, etc. Be careful the breakfast is included only for YHA members, not for every client!! :( You really feel the backpacker business everywhere in YHA and every other hostels we went to had a lot better character!
