I had a great time at candelos and stayed longer than i planned! the manager tanya is so friendly and fun and her and her friends took me and other guests to some great places in the area. She is a genuinely cool person. location is perfect for seeing Candelaria (the old town) and great bars, restaurants, sites etc. the place is clean and has sturdy lockers so you can feel secure about your stuff.

Awesome and friendly staff, everything was clean. We were allowed to store our bags in the hostel after checkout and they even washed single trousers and sweaters. Kind of feeling at home -> 100%

The hostel was great, fantastically friendly staff and incredibly comfortable beds. I would definitely stay here again.

I have been travelling for 16 months. I really enjoyed my stay at Candelos, How nice, everything is new, amazing bathrooms, kitchen accessable 24 hours, lovley girls working there, and it was a Colombian cultural experience, they were playing salsa music and it was great for my basic spanish to talk with them, allthough they can talk English. A nice mix of latino & euro travellers staying here too which was nice. The rooftop is awesome too, book it now;) Do check my travel picks at www.lawlor.me
