I liked the hostel a lot, but it was kind of a party-hostel. Loud at night, but also in the morning. Lots of young people (who made a big mess in the room) The atmosphere was good though.

My friends and I had a great time at Cape Byron YHA. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and there was a great atmosphere among the other guests! I will always stay at a YHA if I can!

I had a great time staying at this hostel. The kitchen was pretty big, and the place was clean for being a hostel. There was always a lot of people partying, but everyone had to leave at 11 pm so you could get a good night's sleep if you wanted to. It was close to the beach and just a few minutes walk to the clubs, so the location was great. The only thing I missed was free wifi, but not many hostels in Byron has that, and there are several places that has free wifi so it was okay anyways.

Good hostel. Only downside is its a bit of a scary walk to make at night from the town if you're by yourself.

I would definitely recommend this hostel. It is expensive, but definitely worth it. Met some awesome people and had lots of fun. Rooms are nice size, clean (although only 2 sockets for electricity isn't enough) and the kitchen is clean. I liked the pool and outside eating area, where you could find someone to drink with every night. Also, worth mentioning is the internet connection! There's no wi-fi, so you have to go to this "internet room" to connect via cable, but the internet is REALLY fast!

To be honest, I found this a slightly boring hostel, with no planned activities or any real common room. It did, however, have a good kitchen and friendly staff on the travel desk.

Great location, met lots of backpackers. Fun environment. They closed the kitchen at 2:30 which was annoying but aside from that everything else was ok :)

Really great hostel, good location and really helpful staff. Kitchen could have more pots and pans and deposit for plates and stuff is annoying. Also no wifi!!!

This is a place for young people, 18 to 23 years old. Good location, near the beach.

Cleanliness in bathroom can be definitely improved. Hostel is too packed. Too many beds in too tiny rooms. No lockers. Bikes are (sorry to say) useless.

Great hostel in a great location in Byron Bay. Nice rooms and good kitchen facilities. Great to have a pool and sets of tables and chairs and hammocks to relax in, too. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Only a few metres from the beach!
