the hostel has a great location, with a swimming pool in a lovely garden just next to the rocks. the room was cosy. the staff was kind and helpful. you should try their dinner. we took the green tour for 60euros, which is quite expensive for what it is. you should just discover the underground city by yourself, it is better and less expensive.

I had a great stay in the Rock Valley. Great value for money in the area. In a nice quite part of the town away from the main road but close to everything. Staff are great, friendly and even teached me how to play blackgammon. They gave really good recommendations as i arrived without plans They serve a great breakfast with eggs made to order. And the pool is a nice bonus though i didn't make use of it as it was rather cold when i was there. Over all a excellent Stay

Great quite pension with very comfortable shared living areas (dining area and pool area). Our private room was extremely clean (apart from the bathroom having a slight damp smell to it), There was plenty of space and the bed was firm but comfortable. Ahmet, the manager was very friendly and incredibly helpful assisting us with booking our transfers to the pension, hot air balloon ride, day tours , departure bus, and sailing cruise in the next city. I would definitely recommend to others!

Had a wonderful stay. The staff were great, funny and helpful. The vibe was great and impromptu gatherings and excursions were always had. The pool is now up and running for cooling of after hikes and Gorome is a really fun town to explore Cappadocia from.

I had a fantastic stay at Rock Valley Pension. The staff were fantastic and super helpful and the breakfasts were great! Met tons of great people too. Would definitely recommend Rock Valley to other backpackers. Only comment would be I wish there were lockers in the rooms.

My stay here was very enjoyable. Prior to my arrival they helped me to book airport transfers, (quite a distance to go) and pre-booked my hot air balloon experience along with other things. They staff went above and beyond in everything we might have asked of them. The breakfast is great, if not the best I have had complimentary from a hostel. I only wish the weather had of been a little warmer to use the pool.

Located in a quiet cul de sac two minutes from bus station (Otogar). This place has cool old Persian rugs throughout the hostel. The staff is two men with wives. The staff are clean cut, very patient and cheerful. They offer and book almost anything you could do in this town. The rooms are basic but clean. Bathrooms are shabby but big and again very clean with hot water. Large warm common room. Deck with pool. The common computer works, no viruses and they have printer! Finally. Breakfast great.

the only problem was i went in the off season and the place was dead. but i can see the potential for the non-stop fun and warmth during the summer time.

What a great dorm, nicest one yet on a 3 month European odyssey.

Cappadocia Rock Valley Pension had a great dorm. The bed mattress can be lifted so that the mattress box underneath works as a storage. This is very secure! Like many hostels, there's only one key for the room, and not enough wall sockets for everyone. Also there is no kitchen or fridge. They have a cafe, but the food is expensive. The free breakfast is wonderful: the Turkish breakfast option brings you a fried egg, salad, tea, butter jam, and a bread basket.

Short walk from the main bus stop, not a cave hostel but surrounded by the rock formations. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good, single beds were also comfy. The main problem was the lack of hot water, we showered three times and never had more than warm water. Wouldn't be a problem anytime after April though as it is warm enough anyway. Overall a comfy and relaxed place to stay, and I'm sure during summer it would be great to sit by the pool and enjoy the rock valley surroundings.
