Rock Valley was a great hostel, only to be outdone by their friendly and helpful staff. Zaida and Ahmet were stellar in their care and thoroughness. Their attention to detail and enthusiastic vibe can be felt even on our short stay at Rock Valley. We surely would return and stay at Rock Valley again if we return to Goreme. It was a wonderful experience where security, cleanliness, and friendly atmosphere came together at this location.

In email before my stay I arranged for pick up from the airport. After waiting for over an hour in the dark and cold, I finally hitched a ride with an airport shuttle, as an alternative. When I finally got to the hostel the receptionist was more concerned about selling me tours that he'd had no answer about the forgotten pick up. Our room was fine. Basic and clean. The next morning I spoke to the manager about the pick up misshape still no proper answer. We chose to check out early.

A great place to kick back and relax. The views from the lounge were stunning and the pool would have been great to swim in if it was warmer. Zaida was the hosts of all hosts and don't worry about making plans till you get there. She will help you arranging everything to make your stay the best. Met great people and loved our stay in Cappadocia.

Good pension, clean, friendly. The staff can help you for everything and has good advices about hiking tours. The garden with the swimming pool is a very relaxing place. Breakfast is good. There is no lockers in the dormitory, but it doesn't matter because you can put your backpack in a case under the bed...and Goreme is really a quiet place, so you don't really need to worry about the security.

Very friendly and helpful staff who makes you feel at home! They're very informative without any agenda. The hostel has a wonderful pool and grounds, although was a little chilly for us to swim (although it didn't stop other, more bold travellers!).

Not a bad place to stay for the price - nice garden/pool and indoor cafe area. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful, without too much pressure to buy a tour. Breakfast choices were solid, too. On the down side, the interior is a little shabby, the room could use more electrical outlets (only one for 7-bed dorm!), and the security is pretty non-existent.

A fantastic place to stay in Cappadochia. I ended up extending my stay because it was a lot of fun and there is a whole lot to do in the area. Zaida on reception is fantastic and makes the place incredibly welcoming from day 1. Very highly recommended.

Good location near bus station (5 minute walk), smallish cold swimming pool, nice garden, single non bunk beds in dorm, great interior and very nice atmosphere to meet other people. Good value for money. Staff where attentive. Not sure all tours were really value for money, you could most of them on your own or arrange alot cheaper elsewhere (like I did), also no lockers.

Excellent place to stay, lovely breakfasts, helpful staff, a tiny bit backpackery more generally, but that's what they're going for I guess. Main problem - rooms aren't caves!
