Directions to Capricho Beach House

To reach Capricho Beach House from San Salvador by car: take the main road towards Acajutla and at km5 turn right towards the border to Guatemala. At the turnoff to Barra de Santiago at km 98.5 you enter a well kept dirt road that takes you the 7 kms to the village. After the village of Barra de Santiago you continue straight along the main road another 3 kms to you get to the end of the road. Capricho is the second property after the end of the road. Our address is: 39 Ave Sur and Final Calle Principal, Barra de Santiago.
If you go by bus there are two daily connections from Sonsonate with bus #285. One leaves at 10 am and the other at 4:30pm. Saturday and Sunday only 4:30pm. The end stop of the bus take you to 33 Ave Sur, 3 blocks from the beach house. Another option is taking the bus towards the Guatemalan border or Cara Sucia from Sonsonate and take use of the pick-up truck service that shuttles between the turnoff to Barra de Santiago and the village. Tell the driver to drive you the last 3 kms from village to the end of the road. (Final Calle Principal)
